Today, I reached level 34 on all my Vex gear. And today, I also got my weapons of choice to 365. I've been following the development of this game since before launch, but it was on launch that I saw the Vex in full, and thought they were the best thing in the game. I loved the idea of exploring the vault of glass, and so I did. Many times. It really didn't take long for me to grab the gear, and I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to own the Mythoclast, [i]before[/i] it was nerfed, as it dropped for me on my first hard mode completion. But even then I knew that with the dlc I had already preordered, it was very likely that my vex fanboy gear would become obsolete at some point. I held out hope even back in September that there would be a day when that vex gear I'd just got would be relevant, and I could wear it with pride amongst whatever neon staffs people were carrying these days (UO anyone? ;) ), and think to myself; 'this is what awesome looks like'. Well here we are, that day has arrived. My never-dismantled vex gear now shines, along with my trusty ship and sparrow of similar theme. It feels like legend................
