High Noon - a unique exotic Hand Cannon idea

High Noon Exotic Hand Cannon “Rhetorical question, punk.” This is my proposal for an exotic double hand cannon, one that I think is a little more grounded than other suggestions, save for its gimp—yes, I gimped it. As you can tell by the name, it’s another western-style weapon. It fires one gun at a time, in a sort of two-round burst (it has a 6 round mag, so three double bursts). That, combined with its high impact (highest impact Hand Cannon archetype, highest impact special weapon), makes it INCREDIBLY deadly… If you land your shots. This brings me to the weapon’s gimp: No ADS. None. Zip. Zero. Nada. There are a couple reasons for this: 1. Lowest Hand Cannon RoF and lowest Exotic Hand Cannon stability don’t validate the damage this weapon can do in one burst. 2. It fits with the cowboy mythos, and simple logic really: How well are you going to aim down the sights if you are dual wielding pistols? 3. It makes up for it. I also want this weapon to reward those who can come out of combat unscathed, those who can quickly react to a situation with precision, and those who can get those valuable shots in. Looks: It looks similar to The Last Word in that it emulates cowboy-era western pistols. Besides that, the hand cannons are black with silver detailing, and each has an energy line running down both sides of the barrel. These energy lines pulse from a dull red to a bright yellow. During the firing animation the lines will always glow at the brightest. Stats: RoF: 14 (Rate between bursts) Impact: 94 Range: 38 Stability: 27 Reload: 32 Magazine: 6 Tier 0 Perks: Solar Damage: This weapon deals solar damage. Second Wind: This weapon is equipped in the special weapon slot. Blood Bandit: This weapon fires a two-round burst and cannot zoom. Tier 1 Perks: Accurized Ballistics: More range and Impact. Increased recoil. Smart Drift Control: Predictable and controllable recoil. Penalty to range. Aggressive Ballistics: More predictable recoil. Enhanced Impact. Shorter range and more recoil. Tier 2 Perk: Hidden Hand: This weapon has enhanced target acquisition. Tier 3 Perks: Quickdraw: This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast. Flared Magwell: Reload this weapon even faster. Hammer Forged: Improved range and accuracy. Exotic Perk: Standoff Elite Greatly increased accuracy. Killing a target that has not yet damaged you briefly boosts rate of fire, reload speed, and movement speed. Edit: There is a secondary nerf built into this weapon, aside from its dismal mag size, rate of fire, stability, and lack of zoom. That nerf is the fact that this is a secondary weapon, meaning it won't have shit for ammo in PvP. Think about that too before you critique and call this "New Thorn." Also note that the buff doesn't proc on enemies that have killed you, meaning that a new life doesn't mean "new chance to get buff." If a dreg stabs you and you think you can come back for seconds, or if you get sniped in Crucible and want vengeance, pick a target that has yet to damage you throughout the entire match/mission.
