Charlemagne's Vault -Raid idea

Charlemagne’s Vault So due to the speculation that Thorn could only be obtained after beating “Charlemagne’s Vault”, I decided that i would design an entire raid after the name of it. So here we go. Backstory Charlemagne was one the eight warminds on earth. He controlled the european sector, and the Mediterranean. He was less of a destructive force, then a mentor. According to the Warlocks, Charlemagne would chose a pupil every solstice and teach them the ways of the world. When Charlemagne found out that the Collapse was about to happen, he called all of his pupils back to him, and with them he said this “Bring me the riches of the world and I will make you immortal”. Thus Charlemagne closed his vault to the outside world, and was never discovered… Until a curious fire team stumbled upon his fortress (you). Opening The Vault To venture into to this raid you have to wander the european dead zone until you find it until you find it (Public event style). When you do find it you will insert your ghost into a slot next to the entrance. Note: There will be 5 encounters in this raid, for ease of reading and writing i will title them ACT I, ACT II, ACT III, and so on ACT I Your fireteam venture into the grassy tunnel adorned with moss. As you go farther in all of the sudden your ghost appears and falls to the ground utterly drained of all light. You reach down and pick it up, it croaks softly, “Throw me back to the entrance”. You throw it back. Almost immediately he perks up and is filled with light, “I cant go any farther, the darkness is to strong here”. No Revives until the end of the encounter and abilities are extremely slowed in their cool-down. Fast forward about 100 meters and you are at the end of the tunnel looking into a dark room with a light at the far end of the room; it was about 300 meters away. In this encounter you have to traverse the room without dying. in the corners of this room there are switches that turn on a vertical strip of light that runs from the corner you are standing in, to the opposite corner. If you turn all of the switches on, you have ten seconds to reach the light, which is a door with a light in the middle. to open this you have to have at least 3 people stand next to it. Any less and everyone wipes (I forgot to mention that this room is filled with holes that open and close, kind of like the POE treasure room door) You enter the door and there is a blinding light. Bestiary: For your understanding of the rest of the raid I've included a list of all of the enemies that you will fight. Dark sentinel: These are the pupils that Charlemagne made “Immortal”, They look like guardians, but they are all black and have darkness curling out of their bodies (Like Qodron) Darkness: This can be anything from a fallen walker to a cabal phalanx to a hive thrall. ACT II After the flash of opening the door, you find yourself split into two groups 3 and 3. In the “Darkness” portal it is pitch black and there is a assortment of enemies in there, however you cannot do damage to them yet. In the “Light” portal there are three hallways. In one of them there is a Darkness infused weapon that you can harm “The darkness” with. To harm them, first you have to get to them. To do this you have to walk through a portal in one of the other hallways. To activate this portal you have to stand on a sync plate in the third and final hallway. When you finally get the portal open clear all of the adds in the “Darkness” portal. After all of them are dead, lights turn on and you hear a sinister voice “How dare you Kill my servants guardian. Althros attack!!(I forgot to mention that the Darkness portal guys just have to stay alive in this part) ACT III Althros looks just like the leader of your fireteam, except with dark tendrils coming out. He is about 15 feet tall. The mechanics of this fight are as follows: Every 45 seconds he is extremely susceptible to damage. However every 45 seconds he also summons a crap ton of adds (Along the lines of 200 or so, this is quite a big arena). His health pool is around 1,000,000 hp so you cant just Gally the crap out of him as soon as the encounter starts. The unique thing to him though is that every time 1/6 of his health goes down, he automatically kills whoever he looks like. So the first 1/6th is the leader, then he just chooses randomly. Remember no rez’s (except for locks i guess, just give me input) so the last 1/6 person has to solo it. The buff is extremely powerful though, around 700% damage buff to boss. After you kill him a door slides open on the far end of the room and you enter the treasure room. ACT IIII This is where you get the first set of loot. Only exotic armor and raid weapons can drop from here, so it isn't the best. Im not going to make up weapons(I might if you guys want me too) so if you want to make up your own in the comments, thats cool. Just remember try to follow a uniform style. This room looks like a giant treasure room ex. Smaug’s stash in The Hobbit. There are 6 chests in this room, so one for each person. They are scattered around the gold and jewels, so you are going to have to look. Once all of the chests are open you hear a rumbling sound and Charlemagne rises out of the gold and jewels. ACT V FINAL BOSS This is the last encounter in this raid. Charlemagne has an opening cinematic of him rumbling out of the gold and jewels. He looks like a gold encrusted Rasputin(What he looks like in the dark below story mission but bigger). When you return to your character you can do 1 damage to Charlemagne. The way you do more damage is to get Charlemagne angry so he melts the gold off of certain spots, so you can do damage to him. To get Charlemagne angry you have to kill his pupils that rise out of the gold. No adds spawn but Rasputin has turrets on his exterior that shoot you. Every time you kill one his pupils he growls and starts doing his signature attack. Which it to shoot four lazer like things out of his body. These slowly rotate and work their way up his body. So imagine Rasputin with four lazers pointing E,W,N,S and slowly rotating while going gradually up. However each time you make him enrage, his lazers start going faster and faster, until they are almost un-dodge able. Repeat doing damage to him with snipers and HMG’S and you will kill him eventually. ACT V AND 1/2 After you kill Charlemagne(Which is not easy whatsoever) he explodes and the darkness tainting everything is banished and you are able to summon your ghost again. You call the tower and they thank you for doing such a great deed for the city. You gain unlimited access to Charlemagne’s vault, which spawns a chest that can drop exotics every week on reset. This chest is random every week, so good luck finding it. There are also chests that contain 1000 glimmer scattered around the room (Which is about 900 meters by 300 meters, very long and wide) Thank you Thanks for reading this absurdly long raid idea.
