What Do you like more Iron Banner Or Trials?
So I was wondering since Iron banner is coming Soon What will you be playing more Trials Or Iron Banner?
Edit: I like Both Game modes. Trials is more Intense gamemode competing for Greater Rewards. Iron Banner is more of a casual Gamemode and you can take your time in that Gamemode.

I like Trials better, but I suck at it so far. Will be IBing next week so I can get the etheric light and get to 34. Grindy grind grind.

4 RepliesThe Banner 100 times over. The bullshit that happens in Trials I have never seen anywhere else in PVP. I'm not talking about the vex/thorn/TLW/shotgun kills, those are perfectly fine. I'm talking about pumping three rounds of Felwinters into someone point blank and they take all of it and run off. Emptying a cylinder of TLW into somebody and their health doesn't drop. Clear head shots that do no damage, and rockets that hit the opponent in the chest and it's as if nothing happened. Bungie really needs to get their shit servers fixed for Trials to be truly competitive.

ToO takes more skill to master while IB takes more dedication. You can finish trials in 3 hours or so and have best rewards is very skilled but might take 3 days for IB

I'm more of a Control/Clash player vs. a Skirmish/Rumble player and since my friends are the same way I like IB better than ToO

3 RepliesI'm a 6v6 kind of guy. Theirs nothing more better then me leading my clan with organization and good call outs. It's more intense because there are more players around to kill. Don't get me wrong you do the same thing in trials. Plus it's going to be good seeing different load outs on weapons in IB instead of the same thorn kids.

I hate all this new 3 players only shit. I want 6 man minimum missions. Thats why the iron banner is better.

They both have cool rewards BUT control is more fun, Iron Banner is more fair (you win even if you lose!), and you can reforge your IB weapons. However, the IB shaders aren't gold, they're more like an ugly brown. Oh well, close enough.

I prefer ToO but i can complete 3 flawless runs in 3-4 hours (burning shrine took 3, pantheon 4) whereas ib for 1 character isially takes 3 days of lazyish playing.

Trials, for sure. I've always loved Skirmish and this is a much more tactical and intense version of that. The rewards are awesome, the Lighthouse is amazing and you get to do it every week! The Iron Banner is great too though. Looking forward to it, as always!

I enjoy Trials because it's first time I've played PvP with a fireteam. Kind of thinking about finding one for Iron Banner now.

Trials feels far more rewarding, and the elimination gametype is very fun. However, I am really looking forward to playing some Iron Banner soon. :-)

Trials is awesome. There are intense moments that get my heart racing and my palms sweaty, you just don't get this in any other type of crucible. I wish it could be held all week so I could play it more but such is life.

2 RepliesTrials, when you have a good team and the servers/other players aren't up to funny business. Iron Banner is just a [i]slightly[/i] more intense form of Control, really. :/ I enjoy both. I'm kinda rocked this weekend though, I haven't had a [i]really[/i] good Trials team yet. Best I did this weekend is 3-0, and that's with a free win and the forgiven boons.😑 Last week I went 9-1 without any, so I'm pretty disappointed. I'm not really interested in Iron Banner anymore since I have all the wespons, but I'll still play for the Etheric Light.

I honestly like the game play of trials more than the iron banner... But having no matchmaking is such a great way to destroy something that's good. Iron banner wins for this lame reason.

1 ReplyTrials = For the competitive/Skilled players more at risk when you lose but better guaranteed rewards, it also takes less time (got flawless on my warlock and hunter this week/Last week) and it's usually takes about 90 max. Iron banner = more casual crowd with the skilled/Competitive players mixed in, rewards in the end are lackluster compared to the price you have to pay. Weapons you obtain aren't completely OP (excluding Felwinter, Jolders, and Radagas Fury) depends on the roll. IN can be very fun and relaxed you get to have 6 friends together and dominate (or not) but it's more casual because even when you lose you are rewarded and the level disadvantage isn't noticeable at all unlike in trials
