Blaming Treasure Keys
Just spent the past 5 hours farming skywatch and did all the petra bounties on two charecters and not a single key. Either my account is bugged or RNG hates me and doesnt want me to play PoE this week (No point without big chest)

4 RepliesHi Tabor, The treasure keys are just that "treasure", and not something that drops frequently. The main rewards of armor core, weapon core and etheric light and all three are dropped in level 32, 34, and 35 respectively when you defeat the final boss and enter the treasure room whether you have a key or not weekly on each character. Enjoy the hunt Guardian!

1 ReplyKeys are suppose to be incredibly hard to come by. If they weren't everyone would have every new gun and armor piece by now. Some people will still have better luck then other but still they should not be easy to come bye

I've had 12 keys drop from the pre launch patrol activities, since then 2.

3 RepliesI have farmed the chests since the Saturday before the POE launch and I have only received 1 key. I farm about 3 hours a day on venus and not once got a key. It's all RNG. I'm not complaining about it but the special synths and spirit bloom from farming is taking over all my slots. Hopefully later in the month they can up the drop rate on these keys since by the end of the end of June almost everyone will have all the gear anyways. Also out of the 4 keys I used I only got the fusion rifle from the chest and one suros. RNG hates me. Haha.

1 ReplyI agree, there's no point to play without a key to spend. The system of drop rates is way too low, casual players probably don't even get keys.

Just the way it is, I was lucky and got 2 from 2 chests but I've opened a good 40 since then and nothing. That's RNGesus for you, he's a fickle bugger. Maybe sacrifice a few dozen unborn souls ;)
