I read a great deal about people sending and receiving hate mail from people in the Crucible. With the silence between opposing players in the game, it is easy to get angry and rage about the other team. While playing Crucible all day yesterday, I decided to take a different approach. My K/D doesn't show it yet(I am still rebuilding from how HORRIBLE I was when I first started playing) but most games I am first or second on the leaderboard. I started sending friendly messages to the leaders on the opposing team. If they beat me, something like: Good game man! I just couldn't beat you. If I beat them: Good game man! You made it hard to get the win. I sent these messages to about 8 people and was pleasantly surprised to receive friendly replies in return from all. My faith in the Destiny community has recovered just slightly. So, have any of you sent or received any messages like these, or are hate messages the extent of your experiences?
