What is the point of not having matchmaking for raids, nightfall, level 32, 34 and 35 poe and for the trials. You need it for choice. I have read a lot of threads with mixed views about matchmaking. I agree with both sides of which want or don't want matchmaking. The fact is gamers don't want to be penalised for not being able to join friends to participate in these events to level up for various reasons like not being on at the same time or friends who are not that good or are forced to join a clan to possibly make friends that may or may not help them. Bungie we NEED this choice. Of course players will moan and bitch about other random players rage quitting or not being as good as them. But Fact is not everybody dedicates their lives to destiny. There are players who moan about carrying others as well but how can the so called carried players advance in game so they are not carried. Without Matchmaking it isn't fair to people who have lives outside of destiny. I have level 30 titan hunter and warlock but still beat a level 34 in crucibles. I'm not a noob to gaming. I have played for 25 years which is longer than a quarter of the destiny gaming community that hasn't even been born yet. Which brings me to my next point. Legendary Engrams !. Why is it that I almost never get any of them for my titan and hunter but my warlock they drop like skittles but are always the same 5 or 6 weapon Legendary Engrams that i don't want or need. And when i dismatle them i get motes of light instead of ascendant materials. I need more armour drops to get ascendant shards but the last one i got was about a month ago with my warlock. And before some smart ass tries to tell me that doing vog or crota will get me them. You need friends to help as matchmaking isn't an option. I have a clan. And I have friends but they are not always on or not always playing destiny. So on behalf of the majority of experienced and elite gamers who are held back from advancing who in turn would turn the whole game upside down and whoop all these level 32+ gamers. If only there was matchmaking. FIX THIS ISSUE AND LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAJORITY WANT! The Minority who don't want this are scared that if this option is available that their K/D ratio would be destroyed and wouldn't be on top any more. I say you always need a bit a of competition to see how good you are. Bungie you are essentially cyber bullying by not giving equal opportunity to the Majority that want matchmaking
