The Ram's Exotic perk, "Increased Armor. Voidwalker melee triggers Life Steal on hit." is the most wondrous thing to happen to Warlocks. If specced for armor already, the extra armor allows you to survive 2 thorn headshots, or even Shoulder Charge.
As for the Life Steal bit, you imagine that voidwalker melee refers to the Energy Drain ability right? WRONG. It simply means that you must be a Voidwalker and land a melee hit. No energy required. So pair this up with Universal Remote or your favorite shotty, and you become a force to be reckoned with.

That's way too much for an Exotic Helmet that already gives you Life Steal on every hit instead of only Life Steal on a kill when you have your melee fully charged. That's literally more difference than being a higher level in Iron Banner. The new HoW Titan helmet doesn't give anything but the Unstoppable perk for free which makes you tougher to kill only during your Super which is nothing since Striker is a close range one and done. I swear, Bungie has some real dips doing their weapon and armor balancing in this game.
