The keywords here "OPTIONAL. You set the standard with Halo Matchmaking Bungie. People can still lfg if they wanted to. Optional Matchmaking won't hurt anyone. Give us want we want. And I don't mean to say that in a demanding or condescend way. We want to have fun. It's not fun going to work or school, then going home and having to get off of your console, get on your phone or PC, visit a lfg site, and try to find a group. I want to play Destiny, not spend an hour or 2 in the tower, or worse, in orbit, to try and find a group for endgame activity's. This necessarily isn't a problem on Tuesday, when all weekly activities are reset, but later in the week, it is hard to find a group because most people have already completed everything.
And the best part is that it is optional.
