I've heard all the arguments but frankly using the forums to find a PuG is still playing with a PuG. The only difference is we have to find them ourselves. We have to leave the game to find a team for the game and when we do it's still got all the drawbacks of a PuG.
You claim maybe we can friend those people and make a fireteam, yet if I had a good team in matchmaking I could friend them and start a fireteam. Leaving matchmaking out of the game just means we have to find the pugs because you couldn't be arsed to implement a feature that EVERY multiplayer game knows it should have. From shooters to MMO's, matchmaking is a must. Leave the raids and the endgame stuff as hard as they currently are. If I make it through with a PuG from matchmaking then well done us. It's mind boggling that you say it needs to be done with friends coz it's so hard yet we go to your recruitment section and find randoms. Why is there ever an endgame section if you don't want us doing it with strangers.
Get your -blam!-ing heads in the game, its getting stupid.
PS, why do you insist on leaving Destiny based game devices outside the game itself? grimoire, group finding, the armoury features on the app. Was there really so little memory available?

Time to not add matchmaking.

So I get the argument for not having matchmaking for Poe for the higher levels but why can't there be an option. Why can't we just skip the pain of having to open the lfg app on our phones to do RANDOM matchmaking and just implement it in the game, it doesn't make any sense, it's the same thing! just more of a pain.

Agreed thousand fold. Making us go online for a CONSOLE game is terrible and intentionally lazy design. If Destiny were for PC that might be a bit more forgivable.

We just believe that social connections in the game make the overall experience better. There are many good applications for matchmaking in Destiny. Our designers feel very strongly that endgame activities rely on a team that is acquainted with itself. Your feedback has been heard, so there's no telling how Destiny might change in the future. In the immediate term, I see a lot of people who are talking about a need for teammates. However, it is not that simple. At current, our philosophy about endgame content is that part of the challenge includes forming up a team. This is a strong community filled with players who are looking for teammates. Why not seek each other out here and band together? -Deej

I called and got my dlc refunded. I really liked the game but this dlc is just offensive. If they do some drastic changes I might try the game again.
