Is anyone else overwhelmed?
Is Anyone else overwhelmed by everything that has to be done in a week now? PoE, ToO, Nightfalls, weeklies, farm keys, farm Trials coins, VoG, CE. (Did i miss anything? )
I'm not complaining. I'm actually staying up late again to squeeze a few hours in here and there after the fiance falls asleep. It's definitely overwhelming but it is awesome!

Nightfalls can drop etheric light. Not for me, of course, but it's possible. Plus you gotta have that buff for all this new crap you get. And normal Crota takes like 30 min for two exotic chances. Unless you have everything already. Even shorter if you jump in at deathsinger.

I think the telling part of your post is where you say "everything that HAS to be done". Not everything needs to be done in this game. We did a Normal Crota yesterday because two guys that we were playing Crucible with had never done it. But that was the first raid I've done since HoW dropped, and I'm in no hurry to get any more done. I have every VoG and CE weapon and armor piece. I have every pre-HoW exotic except 4th Horseman so I'm not exactly needing to max out my exotic chances. And don't get me started on farming keys. That is pointless. The chest only provides Queen's weapons which are nothing to write home about. Why are you wasting hours of your day, filling your inventory with special ammo you can't delete, only to maybe grind out one or two keys for weapons you will likely dismantle or vault right away? Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying the Prison and actually had fun in Trials on Monday despite not considering myself a Crucible guy. But I find that getting caught up in the grind really ruins my enjoyment of the game. I did nothing but Nightfalls and the occasional raid for the two months prior to HoW and am happy to just be able to enjoy the game again. Don't want to bring on another case of burnout too quickly.

Try doing all that, and still juggle school AND work. Thats my life, and it is hard to manage now.

Because of 3 man teams I find it hard to get a group to do PVE stuff. Most of my friends are off doing things when I get on. But I in no rush anyway.

Your issue here is that you think all of that "has to" be done in a week. It doesn't have to be done. It CAN be done. But it doesn't have to be done. It's a game, not a job.

On. Now that the first week is over and there isn't a need to do the story missions over again to unlock everything it won't be that bad for me but then again I stopped doing VoG for rewards a long time ago and only do deathsinger/crota on normal since I still need the 4th horseman. I only need to complete skills revenge one more time and I have about 5 hrs tonight after work and it only took me an hr a piece the other two times with my group

Of I run all three characters and do all the content on each, then ya its crazy. Even on one character it seems bad, since the majority of the time I have is spent farming those damn keys!

Yup. Gonna have to pick and choose because there's not enough time to do everything. Haven't done a raid in 2 weeks now for lack of time. Haven't touched ToO or a PoE other than the lvl 28 on each toon. Got a few friends on Witcher atm too so I'll have to wait a week or 2 for them to come back to Destiny. Story missions And crucible killed all my time this week. Oh well. Lot to look forward to still. Haven't even hit 33 on any of my toons yet.

Yes it is a bit well for me that plays the game more as a casual. Think need to prioritise what it is you want and work out from there how to get it.

1 ReplyI don't see why I should have all new stuff within a week. I have all 3 characters on 33 now, happy with that, I'm doing it step by step. Not doing CE and Vog this week I think. Only how.

I'm more overwhelmed with the weapons, I have no room for anything. The vault space is disgusting.

Don't play the raids. Do Nightfall and Weekly before Friday and then do PoE and ToO over the weekend.

if your doing all of that, wouldnt you wanna include daily icons on the left of your operator(pve/pvp), and all 12 bounties, plus eris's 4 and the queens 5 per week? dont do CE or VOG unless you feel the need. as for needed stuff, do nightfall and all current endgame, poe/trials/HoW bounties
