So after the testfire actually started working, Splatoon was awesome. It was goofy and original which is something modern shooters desperately need. Weapons were balanced, maps were well made and played well, and the whole game looked and felt great. It was completely unlike any shooter I've ever played, and it's been a long time since i thought that about a shooter. But it's $60, which is higher than most Wii U Games, and it isn't finished. You get 5 maps and 1 gametype on launch, with the rest still in development. And the server issues today shed some light on the quality of Nintedo's online services. So, in your opinion, is it worth it to pay full price on a really fun game, not knowing if the rest of the content will be as good, or when it will arrive?
