So after the testfire actually started working, Splatoon was awesome. It was goofy and original which is something modern shooters desperately need. Weapons were balanced, maps were well made and played well, and the whole game looked and felt great. It was completely unlike any shooter I've ever played, and it's been a long time since i thought that about a shooter.
But it's $60, which is higher than most Wii U Games, and it isn't finished. You get 5 maps and 1 gametype on launch, with the rest still in development. And the server issues today shed some light on the quality of Nintedo's online services.
So, in your opinion, is it worth it to pay full price on a really fun game, not knowing if the rest of the content will be as good, or when it will arrive?

It has a signal player, and upgrading system like destiny, I think it's worth the 60

Never new this honestly. But i'm getting it anyway cause my bro pre-ordered it. (Not my choice but oh well, it's his money.) hopefully this game has replay value. Although the same thing happened with GW, except it was only $30 and all DLC was free after launch. ALL. So maybe they'll go that route, with free DLC's every month or so like GW had. Hopefully anyways.

No. That never ends well. It sounds like a 60 dollar early access game. I hate early access. It's a terrible practice for the consumer.

Edited by LethalLemons_: 5/24/2015 2:18:23 AMAn unfinished Nintendo game? Hate for them to go that route.... EDIT:let me know if I misread that. I thought the game already came out.
