Every game said to kill destiny...

That's because nothing is going out to kill Destiny. The only thing that can kill Destiny is itself. It'd be silly to say "Witcher 3 will kill Destiny!', because the Witcher is looking to take away Destiny's audience, the Witcher has its own audience it is trying to please. Same with Battlefield, same with CoD, etc. Once those games start implementing cooldown-related super abilities and character progression in the form that Destiny does, then yes.

The ONLY reason destiny hasn't been killed is the social aspect about it. If it wasn't for the group I play with I would've stopped long ago and I've only been playing 3 months. Also dropped ghally yesterday so if there any butt hurt Plz leave your tears in the jar to the left.

5 RepliesEdited by YummyNasty: 5/25/2015 6:51:16 AMIt's the only good FPS out there so far(also Borderlands). BFH sucked, evolve sucked, CoD sucks, and other FPS aren't shooters. Like Dying light. Wolfenstein has no replay value so we can't count that. Destiny is basically the only entertaining shooter where you can play against people or computers. I'm not including games like The Witcher, Bloodborne, etc. because that's all in personal taste.

I'm playing again now to try the expansion, but I don't see that lasing long. I'm already thinking about what I'll play next when I get bored of Destiny all over again. To be fair though, other games didn't kill Destiny. Destiny killed itself. Or more accurately, Bungie killed Destiny. It's not that Destiny is bad, it just has a bad developer behind it. Activision probably didn't help either. There's just better stuff to play out there, plain and simple.

Battlefront once it comes out I'm done. 1800 hours in game ( according to xbox ) I'm bored of it even with dlc's

When Destiny was first released critics have it a low star rating figuring up coming games would stomp it dead, unfortunately for them as the newer games were released and people were still playing destiny, critics raised their rating on it because of so, don't base your game decision on a critics rating it's more or less a lie

as someone already stated, Destiny will kill Destiny! with this latest DLC i feel incredibly underwhelmed, i may still play from time to time but i stopped playing on friday, just 3 days after the DLC! Destiny doesn't need help in killing itself, its doing a great job of that on its own

College football in the fall and maybe the new star wars game will finally get me away, but I'm still curious if they made it easy to get to 34 cause they are going to drop a new raid in a month
