I have never seen anything like this. This post is regarding the gross lack of content in the house of wolves. I am amazed that Bungie was able to get away with recycling the game for an extra $35. I paid half the game price for the designers to send me backwards throughout the old levels. Absolutely no new content! Like many other gamers, I feel ripped off… I have gotten two expansions and have seen nothing new except a very few new useful weapons and hard-to-get, ugly armor. The weapon design has consisted of different colored weapons with the same “look” and different attributes. I have never regretted paying for an expansion pass on any game, until now. I was so pissed last night, that I would have already traded the game into GameStop if I hadn't already been duped into paying $35 for the expansion pass. TO Bungie: Disappointed even doesn't begin to sum this debacle up. This is almost as bad as the Xbox360’s 60% failure rate with the Red Ring of Death! Keep your new “colored” weapons and give us new content. The gamers paid your company “upfront” based on your company’s untarnished reputation. The project manager in charge needs to get fired. Gamers have a good memory, just ask Microsoft. You guys better make stuff happen or Destiny 2 will be dead on arrival. TO Players: Don’t waste your money..! The story is still non-existent and confusing. There are no new levels, just backwards old ones! The Reef outpost doesn't look like impressive… It actually created a new problem. Now I have Earth AND the Reef, to return and collect bounties. FUBAR! I have to fly to orbit, and then fly to earth, instead of having all the vendors in a centralized location. Even a fast travel between earth and the reef would have made more sense.

  • i feel like Bungie is laughing at us all. That was a lot of hype for 45 mins worth of story mission, some pointless exotics and a "new" mode which comes standard on most call of duty games. We payed to get buffed guardians to faceroll old content. I feel dirtier for this than paying .99 cents for 5 extra moves on bubble blaster.

  • I agree with the lack of content especially since 3/4 , osiris, poe higher levels and nightfall wont be able for single players due to lack of player search Although bounties can be turned in at the outpost

    • I will admit to quite a bit of disappointment. I was expecting whole new map areas to explore / patrol. Not just the same ones with a few new enemies thrown in. Seriously, even just expanding the existing areas - heck, even if all they added were all the old PvP maps, it would have been an improvement over what we got. I expected more in the reef as well, not just a little platform. But something that spoke to Awoken culture, with areas to explore, and things to see. Now I've already done the missions. And I'm a casual player with very little available time. *sigh*. Bungie, you could have done a lot better than you did. This feels more like a patch than a DLC.

    • What the problem is here is this,, people hype themselves up, the higher they hype themselves the more there let down. There is allot to do In HoW, and I haven't Evan tried the ToO yet. Most likely won't much ether, I'm just not a PvP player, every stupid game out there is a PvP game, I'm super happy with VoG, Crotas end and PoE. And in 6 months we will get more. Don't worry, Be Happy!

      • If you've played on the new map, the one on 'Phobos', that shows that they are capable of designing new planets etc. but they just choose not to. I have to say I was disappointed when I realised I was doing Winter's Run backward for the first mission, why are they so opposed to giving us new content? Instead they'd prefer to re-skin what we've already got, and just renew the grind with more materials to try and obtain. Bungie, why don't you address the lack of story? Stop trying to distract us with 'Crota! Skolas!' I actually want the base story to be furthered or fleshed-out a bit. But of course they won't do that because that'll be in the next game (which a lot of people aren't going to buy at this rate)

      • I never bought TDB, and I don't plan on getting HOW. Is the 35$ just for HOW, or is that for the Season Pass?

        • I have to admit that my expectations were low going into this after TDB. The "story" is laughable at best and can be completed in less than 3 hours... which includes trips to the reef and tower. The PoE is a fun new twist, but is essentially a wave based raid with fewer people and rewards. I can see it getting old fast. Trials of Osiris just seems like it will be search and rescue with higher stakes. All of this for a few pieces of new gear. The exotic additions seem meager... almost like Bungie's best ideas are behind them when making relevant new weapons. I'll also admit I'm having fun for the moment. But there's always the thought in the back of my head that I probably won't use half the gear I get and I'll be worn out on the rat race sooner than when I burnt out on TDB
