the call of duty effect and ToO

For anyone that doesn't know what the call of duty effect is, it goes in steps 1) new game is announced, people say it's gonna be super good when the game is months from being in stores 2) a couple of weeks or a month before it hits shelves people say they won't get it, simply because it doesn't look good enough or same old things in it 3) they buy it anyways and say it's amazing 4) they play it for months and then when they get bored of it call it a bad game This is exactly what's happening with destiny. Everyone was hyped for dark below Everyone loves it in the beginning It starts to get old and people complain and call it bad New dlc is promised and people are hyped More is revealed about dlc and people hate it saying it's not good enough People buy it anyways and it's claimed as good anyways People like it, shit gets old, people hate it
