Do you think Destiny 2 will only be for Playstation?
Right now I play Destiny on the Xbox 360 because I cannot afford a next gen console. I love Destiny. Yes, there are things that need improvement, but I will definitely be getting Destiny 2. Playstation is getting the love with all of the extra content and weapons right now.
(Personally I think Xbox users should get extra strikes and maps because it will cause less repetition. I don't mind guns, but content I'm jealous of)
Do you think Destiny 2 will only be for Playstation? Like how Halo is exclusive to Xbox? I know this seems like a dumb question but I feel like it's a possibility.
Edit: Thanks to everyone for replying with your thoughts! I know Destiny 2 will be on Next gen but it just seemed Sony is going all out for this game Haha
Edit 2; Dang..I was just looking for a response about which console I should buy without starting a console war, and 200+ comments. And for you all saying I m stupid..I was honestly curious because even though I am 38 years of age, I'm new to the gaming community.

Playstation would have to pay silly amount of money to get that deal and even then it's not in destinys interest to drop half its player base.

If the first game goes to one system only then it will usually stay on that system or brand to the end of the series if it has one. Sometimes the series will end up on other consoles, like Metal Gear Solid games are came to Xbox from playstation. When a game comes out for most or all systems then the rest the series will be out for most or all systems.

Bungie would piss off half its player base if destiny 2 was only on playstation. And nearly 100% if they said for PC only. And gave out gjallarhorns for pre ordering. At that point even I would join the angry mob that would be going to burn down bungie HQ.

Once you ask a community about which console to buy, there will be a war. Hell, if you bring up a specific console in general, there might be a war still. That's one rule since you're new to the gaming community

It would be the dirtiest pool to yank the rug out from under PS3, 360 and XB1 players....so I do not THINK it would happen. I think Bungie would have a hard time stomaching that. As far as last gen support, it is very possible that Destiny 2 is PS4/XB1 only. We're getting to a point of saturation with the newer consoles where they can support the development of games via the install base. It happens to every console and graphics card...

2 RepliesReally, buy a Playstation, unless you have friends or family on Xbox. I migrated from Ps4 to my 1 to play with all my RL friends, but I can say I vastly prefer the Playstation. And not to mention Bloodborne.

4 RepliesMaking the second installment of a series console exclusive AFTER Destiny was for both consoles would cut into their profits and their reputation a whole hell of a lot. Also, Bungie has roots in Xbox. They won't give that up.

No, he only reason PS gets exclusives is because they paid for them, there isn't going to be console exclusivity for the entire game. Besides, Activi$ion wouldn't lose half their paying customers on purpose.
