Unlucky - Bad Luck when it comes to getting exotic or legendary items
Anybody else have serious bad luck when it comes to getting exotics and legendaries???? Week after week i have done all the nightfall strikes and all the daily heroics and weekly. I play crucible everyday until im blue in the face and i hardly ever get exotics and legendaries. every exotic or legendary i have was bought. whenever i level up rahool i never get legendary items its always ascendant shards. i have so many ascendant shards they coming out of my ears. I see people with the most awesome of exotics and legendaries and i have all the crappy ones. i have been playing for ages and my luck just does not change...
when my friends in the same crucible match get gjallejorn and i get a blue engram. i play the game with the hopes that i might just get lucky and maybe get a gjallejorn or hawkmoon. And i can't even complete the thorn bounty cause its tooooooooo bloody difficult and xyor never spawns no matter how long we stay in there and kill all the minions. I play everyday and I recieve absolutely nothing worthwhile. so please tell me what the hell must i do to get exotics and legendaries?????????????????

To answer your question you must keep playing. That's how it goes with RNG system. As for thorn make sure you launch the specific thorn summoning pit strike.

You got to suck the Cryptarch's dick. (Yes I'm serious) As for Exotics though, try doing Raids especially on Hard difficulty. Xur sells Exotics too.

Break it up. Take a day or even a week off. Come back fresh. it is only a matter of time. I went quite awhile without most of the stuff I h ave now. I got a whole bunch of good luck happen all of a sudden. The only gun I don't have now (other than bounty ones) is Gjjallahorn. My bet is your luck is about to change soon. Just don't give up.
