Xur's Crest of Alpha Lupi
I've been waiting on a Crest of Alpha Lupi for my Hunter for a while now so you can imagine my ecstasy when Xur arrived at the Tower with it. Although the feeling turned bittersweet when I realized 2 things:
1. The stat roll was terrible, Strength only? And not even a high roll at that? 180 Strength I believe is the max an exotic piece can roll.
2. I'll have to upgrade it when HoW arrives, if Xur sells it again post-HoW or if I receive it in the nightfall I won't have to worry about that and I can use the new Etheric Light to boost other gear.
So tell me, is Alpha Lupi worth getting now just to be safe or should I wait until post-HoW?

The strength stat never changes it's always going to have the strength, as with all exotics.

170 is max, but yeah. Just buy one and upgrade it whenever the opportunity to do so arises. 50 less than max strength isn't going to ruin your PvP game.

Stats on an exotic aren't random sadly, they are the same always
