Definition of a Scrub Please! Help Me Understand!
What is your definition of a scrub?
Lately I've seen many posts complaining about scrubs, mainly complaining about the weapon setup and load out the alleged scrub is using, for instance, running thorn/blade dancer/felwinters/valedictorian. (Which is what I run most of the time as my tryhard class)
So, to my understanding, a scrub is someone new to the game, similar to a noob. They camp or snipe (badly there's a lot of great sniper out there) from the back of the map or a corner. They are annoying, they might end your kill streak or piss you off by Teabagging, but I don't think you can call someone who beats you in crucible a scrub. That's contradictory to my understanding of the word.
I tend not to call people names or rage I hard, although lag is something that really grinds my gears. When I get killed, I usually applaud my opponent, and learn from my mistakes.
So, as I obviously don't know, how would you define a scrub? And if you say you would define it as me add me and meet me in rumble and we shall see who the scrub is.

1 ReplyFrom my understanding the original use of the word scrub in gaming slag was for those who played arcade games by just rubbing over all the buttons, this was done mainly in fighting games because it was an easy way to get the combos. It looked as though they were scrubbing the controls and so they were called scrubs. It is not necessarily a form of cheating but it is also not playing how the game was intended to be played (so in terms of unwritten rules it was cheating, kind of like spinning the sticks in foosball/table soccer/table football).
