I made a hunter and...
Wow. I love this class! It fits my play style so much!! And the capes look -blam!-ing amazing.. Totally gonna stick to Hunter

Welcome to the club. A couple of tips: 1) Use chain of woe and gunslinger's trance perks with the gunslinger. You'll be used to building your perks around your super. That's not necessary with a gunslinger. Build your perks around your gun and be amazed at how weapons you thought you knew become unstoppable killing machines. Like the outlaw perk? With this setup you can have it on any gun you want. Hawkmoon with this setup is pure joy. 2) While the invisibility perks are what you'll be using most often on a bladedancer don't miss out on one of the most fun setups in the game. If you're not doing endgame content like a raid or a nightfall you should use the Encore perk with Showstopper while wearing Mask of the Third Man. Your super will keep going as long as you have enemies to kill. A never ending arc blade is a beautiful thing. 3) If you are doing an invisibility build make sure to use Shadowjack to extend durations and don't use blink. It will end your invisibility. 4) Pair MIDA with Radiant Dance Machines and you will move faster while ADS than other classes can run period. It takes some getting used to but you will be insanely fast in all situations. 5) You are an unstoppable solo killing force that doesn't need others to succeed. If you do need to hang out with other guardians then do so; but make it seem like a chance encounter.

It doesnt count as a critical, nor does the number go yellow, but go up against two knights, body shot one and headshot the other. The headshotted one dies in one shot and the body shot one dies in two hits. Edit: I tried Oversoul Edict with Chain of Woe and Gunslingers Trance. No recoil and supah fast reload. Its amazing.

I had 2 Titans and was getting bored so I made a hunter (was a hunter during beta but didn't have enough time to play). Playing as a hunter is so fun. I was one of those people who also said "hunters are worthless" I totally take that back... Warlocks are hella ugly. The crota helmet is nice but other than that....will be making a warlock though... Maybe..

4 RepliesI'd like to make a hunter, I've already got all the armor and exotics for one. I just can't face the damn grind and story missions again. Still haven't completed the Eris story on my warlock even.

Master race for sure. But I still enjoy the other classes.

The mobility is what makes the Hunter. Having the only cool class items also is another perk Hunters have.

People suggest Gunslinger, Blink and Blink Strike make the Bladedancer very effective.

6 RepliesI do apologise for my blunt and perhaps offensive comment. Hunters capes have a few uses. 1. Emergency toilet paper after you hit a guy with a shotgun after blinking on top off them and they live. 2. A fold up nappy after you played a full game of (Above comment), and finished with a positive KD. 3. Remembering Warlocks told you how to do it and wiping that single tear. Yours sincerely, a shitstain free warlock.

I guess without like tank/dps/heal archetype breakdown, they all just feel the same to me. Think the perceived difference people feel is all placebo.
