With Trials of Osiris coming soon, the demand of better matchmaking is needed. Most of my crucible games have horrible connections. Not just me but half the lobby too. I know my internet isnt the greatest, but Ive been playing online competitive multiplayer games (Call of Duty, Killzone, Battlefield, etc) since the launch of PS3, but Destiny is the first one where my competitive multiplayer connection is horrible. Ive also played with a lot of different LFG raid groups and my connections with them are mainly great, little to no problems.
