You will then gain a ninth column in the subclass skill tree with three choices. Regardless of the perk you choose your class's Armor, Recovery, or Agility stat will be extended depending on your character class and your subclass skill tree will be locked. To remove this lock you will need to visit your Vanguard Mentor and reset the process. You will not have to re-level the subclass after unlocking, you will just loose the bonuses gained from locking. [b]You may only lock one subclass per character.[/b] Each subclass will have three choices, the first will amplify your super's ability, the second will focus on weapon training allowing you to wield two exotic weapons, and finally the third choice focuses on resistance allowing you to wear two exotic pieces of armor. You may not wield any more than two exotics time. Your subclass will not lock until the final set up is chosen and the bounty is turned into your class's Vanguard Mentor. You will not gain the specialization's abilities until the bounty is turned in. After locking, you will only be able to modify the grenade column.
