Random tower invites
Could people stop with the tower invites without including a message of your intentions. If I'm deciding what to do next and someone invites me to help them, I just might, if I knew what they wanted. Tell me what you are doing. The message option comes up on the invite screen. If you are too lazy to type a line or two what makes me think you won't be afk on the mission/strike/raid?

4 RepliesI ran a Level 24 weekly strike with some guy a couple of weeks ago (when it was Phogoth and my Warlock was fresh with no gear) and he was absolutely terrible. We did the Shrieker room strategy, but he kept killing the shrieker every time it spawned. I finally had to message him to tell him to stop because it was making it impossible to put damage into Phogoth with all the wizards he was spawning. After that, he has been messaging me for weeks about me doing raids with him and wanting me to carry him. He's still level 27 last I checked...finally got so annoyed with him I had to block him via Xbox Live.

Im a 32 and do that all the time. Problem is that if you write a message the persom will probaly leave before it is finished

Yup, did it one time and got paired with a level 27 idiot with no plan. Left the fire team immediately and I will never join another tower invite unless I get a message stating their intentions.

In the beginning I accept it. Was a good move tho, now my friend group expanded. And have steady raiding group now. Things that annoy me the most are the random invitations while I'm playing patrol

Lol so much more important shit to whinge about? If your bored and have nothing to do accept it, if your not, ignore it? Is it really that much of an inconvenience haha and I'm guessing they don't message you because they are spamming everyone in the tower trying to get numbers, I say you should just get a life mate haha

I just ignore them. Except from friends, but even then I don't accept. I message back asking what they need. Helps to know what load out/character to grab.

3 RepliesIf it were possible to send a mass invite & message without having to retype the message for every person I could agree with you. You could always message them back asking what their plan is.

Totally agree here, I'd happily help out another Guardian if a message came with a invite. Hate getting spammed all the time though, them guys get blocked, if you want me to join so bad write a message not just invite me 10 times in a minute

2 RepliesI used to get heaps on invites when I hit level 30, and then when I hit level 31. But for some reason and thank god I stopped getting invites when I hit 32

I always send them a message asking what they want to run. Their loss if they don't reply. [spoiler]and if you don't speak English/Italian/French then invite to party and see whether we can communicate[/spoiler]

4 Replies100% agree. Love getting invites if they SAY what they want to do!! "Help" is not enough!! Please Guardians, short note on what you want to do!! Most times ONE or TWO WORDS is enough! Nightfall/ vog/ Tiger strike, etc etc.

6 RepliesYES!!! Invites are fine, but it takes you ten-fifteen seconds to write a word about what you want to do. Not bothering to do so, is for me the same as going around poking people you pass on the street without saying anything.
