Can someone from Bungie and not one of these uppity mentors actually help me?

I'm seeing people post all about not being able to stay connected ever since the latest patch came out. I posted before about the bee/anteater/fly codes I have been getting. The mentor brushed it off saying I needed a new modem. So how is it that all my other games work fine, but yet everytime I start Destiny, I get booted? Despite having a good connection accoring to the game itself? Or is this all just a ploy to cheat us out of HoW since I paid for it way back when I bought the game? I see what you are doing. Make me rage quit so Ib get cheated out of the money. Well I want a real answer from a real person who knows what they are talking about. Not some flim flam mentor who won't even acknowledge there is an issue with the Destiny servers.

Hello, Which ISP are you with? Also, is there a high amount of traffic on your router? Edit: I'm not blaming your router.

    • The problem is not the router itself, but the configuration on your router. It sounds like you have an active firewall settings on your router that prevents your console to connect to Destiny's server. I suggest the following things: Add an exception to your firewall to accept and send information to Bungie or Port forward your router to Destiny server. You'll need to include a link to your previous post or include the following in this post: GameTag/PSN ID Gaming Platform Error code(s) you are receiving Time of day you are playing NAT Type Any other relevant information This will ensure that any Bungie employee or Mentor/Ninja can diagnose your issue to the best of their ability. I know their answers are not always what we want to hear but patience is key with any tech support issue. Mentors volunteer their time and are not paid by Bungie. They may not always be right, but in my experience their hearts are in the right place. Good luck to you.

      • Yeah, dude. I'm having the same issue. The game worked fine before the day before yesterday, and all my other games are working fine, but Destiny seems to be booting me out of something every thirty minutes. I've been trying to get Standing Tall all day, but I can't seem to actually stay in the game long enough to get the thing. It would be really nice if this crap would stop
