HoW will be released in May the 19th which gives us from this moment I'm writhing this, 4 weeks and 2 days until launch. So I'm gonna show you how to best prepare yourself for HoW [b][u]Stack up[/u][/b] [b]Materials[/b]. There will be new guns and armor in HoW both legendary and exotic, the easiest way would be to get 100 vanguard/crucible marks each week to buy the material. If you start now you will have 400 of each material Spin metal, Helium filaments, Spirit bloom and Relic iron. [b]Ascendant material[/b]. We don't know if HoW will bring a new type of material but it can be good to stack if you find some cool vendor armor/weapon. If you start doing dailies every day from now to the 19th May you will get 60 Ascendant materials on dailies alone, you can also receive 30 materials if you do at least 1 public event every day. [b]Glimmer[/b]. Unfortunately Bungie capped our glimmer to a maximum of 25000, but you can collect your own stocks by putting all glimmer consumables in your vault instead of Rahool. Right now there is one consumable per race. Fallen: House Banners Hive: Silken Codex Vex: Axiomatic Beads Cabal: Network Keys These are dropped by enemy majors and ultras and when given to Rahool is worth 200 glimmer each, you will need 125 of these to fill up your glimmer from 0 to the cap. [b]Motes of light[/b]. Right now they are only useful to buy exotic engrams from Xür, but the best strategy would to hold on to these until after HoW drops to give you the best chance on getting those new exotics. [b][u]The weekend prior to launch[/u][/b] If you have plenty of materials getting your Vanguard/Crucible marks to the cap of 200 each would not be such a bad idea. And we all hate it but hanging out at the Exclusion Zone (or you favorite glimmer farm) to get to the glimmer cap would be wise. To make this less boring that it's mute your TV and play some music/turn on some stand up comedy (something that you can listen to but don't need to watch) But as we all know we don't have all the information about HoW so if needed I will update this guide if needed. And give me your best tip if I have missed something to make this guide as complete as possible! [b]Update 1[/b] The day before HoW get your faction reputation as close to the next rank as you can get.
