This is pure conjecture, but what if the raid is being pulled because 3rdgen can't run 6mans? If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. It had to happen some time. Destiny outgrew its diapers and needs to grow up and enter a new school. We've been arguing for months about how to fix it without breaking it. Maybe dropping 3rd gen is the only way to save destiny? They literally can't dumb down the next vault update just for 3rd gen. And the vault is but a very small area of entire game that demonstrates 3rd gen limits. They are breaking their necks trying to make it work. And every update they have to water stuff down for 3rd gen. It's too much work, not enough resources available on 3rd gen systems and the developer. My raid experience tells me that 4 man's runs amazingly great. 5 man's so so, and 6 man's almost always are bad. I'm on Xbox 360. Flash forward to the things we do know: Vault update was smaller for everyone because of 3rd gen Features had to be cut just to make it work PvP may be breaking or broken because of 3rdgen architecture and security holes. (Some maps just don't play the same on 360. You know what maps im referring too.) It's gonna cost me more to upgrade my consoles than it would to switch back to PC. (Please give me that option when you dump me.)
