Compatibility Pack 3 for Update 1.1.2 BROKEN DOWNLOAD!?
This is the 8th time I've attempted to download the new update for my 360 version of Destiny. My buddy who still plays the 360, downloaded this update at the same time I was, but was able to download the damn update. I've checked my HDD, connection, and the game. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH ANYTHING! Yet, it keeps telling me the update is damaged and tells me I need to re-download the game. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!?
This is why this game should have NOT been released for last-gen consoles. This game runs like crap. My Xbox One version plays so much smoother and downloaded the update in no time with no problems. WHAT IS THE DEAL BUNGIE? WHAT CAN BE FIXED HERE!?

1 ReplyI have the same problem, extremely frustrating! Been trying to figure it out the last few days. Deleted all game data and re downloaded and still same problem.

That sometimes means there is corrupted files in your storage connected to the game. Or your hard drive just doesn't want to take it right now. What u can do is get a 8-16gb usb stick and configure it to the xbox storage. Just pop one in and go to storage click on it and it will ask u to config it. Will take like 5-10 secs. Now when u go to download the comp pack #3 it will ask u what storage device to use and click on the new memory u added. And it will download there. Give it a shot I've had to do that with a lot of games

Mine worked. Took like 2 hours but it worked

Delete the compatibility back from your storage and redownload it. My download got interrupted due to a connection issue, and it ended up messing up the file. I had to redownload it from the dashboard rather than in game.
