Right this minute...
...I'm in a meeting with people from Bungie User Research, Destiny Player Support, and some Design and Project Leads. We're talking about you (yes, you). This happens every week. It's how things like 1.1.2 come into being.
Thank you for posting to this board. I know you want us to turn and burn on your ideas overnight, but please know that you are a part of our process.

78 RepliesDeej. I just look at this forum....shake my head....and think two things. 1. I wouldn't want your job, trying to referee this mob. 2. I'm glad someone is not only willling to do it, but seems to genuinely enjoy it.l Between Patch 1.1.2 and the House of Wolves, Bungie is adding a LAUNDRY list of things to the game that people have been asking for for MONTHS. Crying and whining endlessly about how Bungie "isn't listening". Well.....it seems Bungie HAS been listening....and guess what? It still isn't good enough. NOTHING is ever good enough. They whine if you don't give them what they ask for....and they whine EVEN LOUDER if you do give them what they ask for. Unbelievable.

3 RepliesYou need to make matchmaking optional in everything the game offers. Raids and all. Its not rocket science how to incorporate it into everything so we all are happy. Make it optional and only match make with people your level only. Make it a option in settings or before you start a raid to enable matchmaking or keep it disabled. Stop being lazy and get matchmaking the way I explained it into the game. It would give everyone the options they want still. People could turn the option on and off. It wouldn't be forced on anyone. Not rocket science to figure that out by now. It can be done and your development team knows it.

2 RepliesCome on guys. Can we at least try to be civil? Like in my first major post on these forums, ranting and raging are not going to solve any problems. I imagine most of us voicing these angry posts are in fact adults, it's way past due to start acting like one.

2 RepliesBring trading to this game. It needs bad cause of the terrible rng drop system. Many of us have duplicate weapons in the vault that could be better used to help a buddy get a gun that never rewards for him or her and the same for us. My buddy has 6 ghorns now and I have 1. I have 5 red deaths and he has none. He have 7 vex mythoclast now and I have 1 on my main gaming account not this one. I have to make bogus accounts cause you or your report button scammers have my comments hidden from being seen so I have to keep making nee accounts on here just to have my comments seen since the snotty nose brat teens keep getting my accounts hidden spamming the report buttons on post. Remove the report option.

1 ReplyTo remove the report comment option on these forums. The trolls spam them and get legit criticism hidden. The community should not be allowed to report comments otherwise we can abuse that option.

Base all matchmaking on best connection, not just trials. Skill based matchmaking causes lag, therefore not skill based regardless. Also implement matchmaking into trials. The majority of teams will be from LFG, so it will be pretty random regardless, why not implement optional matchmaking.

4 RepliesRemove rng from raids and hard strikes and nightfalls. It should be based on skill and the finish based on rewards in those modes. Not random rng crappy loot 99% of the time. Makes people stop playing the hard modes cause of your crappy rng drop system.

This concern should be immediate: RNG and receiving rewards you already possess. In a Crucible match no one man alone should receive rewards when those who carry the team are more deserving. Yet till we see those with little to no kills be granted legendary or even EXOTIC items. We should demand more. In the raid so many get little and so many get repetitive rewards. Example: John and friends go into the Vault of Glass Upon completion of the Templar the team gains the following items. Found John: Grieves of Kabr Lilian: Acendant Shards Will: Ascendant Energy Thomas: Found Verdict Oliver: Praetorian Foil Beck: Kabr's Wrath Both Lilian and Will do not get what they want, they only require the grieves and chest plate of their respective classes. John alread has Kabr's grieves and does not need them or the ascendant material they give on breakdown. Beck needed the chest plate but wanted the Found Verdict more. Everyone else is happy with their rewards but the rest are assured continued raids will grant them what they seek. Sadly only one would receive the rewards they want. The rest will gain their wants after a dozen more raids. Many players are often fed up with having to do multiple raids with clear dislike for the RNG for never giving them what they want. Some would argue that the ascendant materials should only be assigned to Dailies and PvE events while raid gear and weapons remain with the raids to make acquiring them easier. others would wish for a simpler reward system.

Fiesta, even combined arms, Double marks etc. Something for the weekends For pve as well, it can alternate weekends. Relic only or sword only ROC strikes. Increased drop rates. 6 RepliesWhile I don't remember anyone asking for a horde mode, I welcome the opportunity it could be fun. I am quite disappointed that there will not be a raid released with HoW. [b]However,[/b] I am yet unsure of whether or not the raid was merely delayed or canceled. If it is a delay I think we should all chill. Be patient and wait for Bungie to perfect it so they don't release a half baked product and leave people feeling cheated. Then the player base won't kvetch (as much) about all the problems with the raid because Bungie will have had their act together and already have fixed it before it was a problem. If there is no HoW raid, then the hate is to be expected but maybe not deserved. Let's stop ripping them a new one over something that isn't even out yet. Stand down guardians, let's wait and see what they do. Keep an open mind and closed mouth until HoW arrives. Then if Bungie has royally screwed it up then you are justified in ripping them a new one. Odds are at that point Destiny will loose a large chunk of its fan base and there will be significantly less money for Bungie in the future. Bungie, do a good job. I would hate to see this turn uglier than it already is. Please don't let us down. UmbraHagalaz.

The millions of people that play this game and every single one of them expects you to listen reply and respond post haste. I would hate to have that job Deej. On the other hand i enjoy the fact you are indulging on somewhat what ill call sub contract sects of destiny such as sparrow racing league. Alot of people wanted it, its somewhat underground and i do know you guys have an eye on this so hopefully you will get behind it.

5 RepliesDeeJ, just spend 45$ for Shroud of the Avatar. install the game, create a character and run through the PRE-ALPHA! This PRE-ALPHA crowd funding game has more content and activities than Destiny will ever have. Yes, it only runs on real computers and is built with Unity 5. It's resource hungry like hell at the moment and the performance is shit, but it's a PRE-ALPHA. Bungie should change the platform to PC and Mac, because a good MMOFPS can't be made on consoles. Having trouble to go from 20 to 36 vault spaces for weapons proves it! The 'shared world' and 'all platforms' aproach has made a great game mediocre. The 'shared world' is empty of interesting things to do and only the entrance to the strikes/raids. Convert the 'shared world' to single player/your fireteam only mode and fill it with Skyrim, Baldurs Gate, Ultima stuff to do. Consoles are obviously not able to do 'shared world' stuff.
