Best Farmer
I've had massive glimmer shortages lately. Was wondering if you all thought one class/subclass makes a more efficient glimmer farmer. I'm doing exclusion zone, but could be anywhere.

7 RepliesIf you have lots of black wax you can go to the mission The Wakening, destroy Crotas soul mission. Go until you reach the first shrieker, kill the cursed thralls in the room and stand by the tall rock in front of the door, do not go though the door as it will stop spawning thralls. Infinite amounts of cursed thrall will come out, so just take bad juju or ice breaker. A group spawns every five seconds. If you need help just ask me.

3 RepliesGatekeeper check point at atheon :) kill art the yellow hobgoblins and repeat. Don't kill the gatekeeper. I ran around with a shotgun Bc it usually one hits them with the exception of a few depending on where you hit them. Hope that helps!

I use my gunslinger w achlyophage. Fatebringer, icebreaker, and hunger of crota.

2 RepliesRun roc strikes, pop resupply codes or ether seeds or whatever depending on the strike. You get xp, engrams, and glimmer for the completions. Way more efficient than exclusion zone overall. Just glimmer in a rush though, exclusion zone is the best for now. I had 3000 glimmer and maxed it out in a single night of roc strikes while completing bounties and leveling my faction. Kills five or six birds with one stone.

Also, save the house banners and crap in your vault. Those things that cryptarch pays 200 for. This way when you spend all your money on iron banner you will have some reserve if needed to buy more shit or level gear up.

I like to do it on a striker with ruin wings, 1 slam, lighting grenade or gjallahorn will clear 1 side of the major ship, I usually have 2 out of the 3 so it doesn't take 2 long

4 RepliesJust pop consumables while you run bounties. Ether seeds + black wax idol on Omingul strike will get you like 4k and you aren't sitting there doing the same thing over and over.

3 RepliesExclusion Zone as a Gunslinger Hunter, and make sure you're using NETWORK KEYS on cooldown. Super fast clearing. I usually use my Scout Rifle, Pulse Rifle and Rocket Launcher as a load out (specific weapons don't matter much).

There are quite a few great places, and as others have said the Warlock with obsidian mind and bad juju makes a great glimmer farmer. That said, even my level 28 hunter has no issues farming, and my titan is fine as well. Just load up on the consumables for whatever you are going to be killing and get to work!

6 RepliesPersonally I find warlock voidwalker to be most efficient on exclusion zone. Pair it with obsidian mind and whatever the perks are that increase your super (can't be arsed looking up the names)and you're guaranteed super on every run. jusr make sure and skip the first wave of enemies though and go straight to the yellow bar guys from the second drop ship to keep things running more quickly 😊

I like going to the Citadel on Venus and popping a Blue Polyphage or two personally.

I always use voidwalker and obsidian mind for exclusion zone. Nova bombed the right side majors as soon as they land, then rocket the majors on the other side. Two voidwalkers each hitting the groups as soon as they land is stupid fast.

Also another good one is the bark beyond mission on the moon. "We've woken the hive!" Get to the part where the hive poor out, equip bad juju and go nuts! Just don't kill the kill but do the mission are hard and get the three hallowed acolytes.

Void walker with obsidian mind/bad juju just run past first wave. Bomb left side majors and grenade the right side and clean up with juju will have super up as soon as you're done. Wipe, repeat.

The gatekeeper cp is the best! You earn almost 600 every 40 seconds, there is nothing better than that.

Exclusion zone is the fastest and most accessible route. Every Iron Banner, if I want some goodies, I just do that nonstop. Regarding classes... Sunsinger may be the fastest with Fusion Grenades, because at certain level each grenade guarantees a kill. So in the exclusion zone, for example, my Radiance will grant me 7-8 deaths if I can stick them all. Bladedancers may be a second close, although the slashes do not 1HKO Cabal majors that easily.

None is better than the other for this, exclusion zone is good, but if you can manage to snag a gatekeeper cp on hard...that is better.
