a letter to all you xbox players
Hey there Xbox players, I'm a psn player and I just wanted to talk to you guys about the psn exclusives. I know how psn players make fun of Xbox players cause they don't have Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo, 4th Horseman, Psion Flayers Strike, or The Undying Mind Strike but honestly they aren't that great. Only good things in my opinion are the Hawkmoon and Psion Flayers strike. The 4th horseman sucks, Monte Carlo is like a Hard Light and The Undying Mind Strike is just annoying! Only thing you guys should really look forward to is the Hawkmoon, that thing is really amazing, the rest is meh.... I like the Psion Flayers Strike cause its so different and its unique so that's a plus too :) easier to kill if you have a jelly horn and shotguns, but seriously psn players STOP sugarcoating all these exclusives and making it seem like they're so great! I'm on both sides and hate the fact that console wars are even a thing, why can't we all just get along as gamers? BOTH psn and xbox have their ups and downs, let's just unite and go against the Wii! just kidding lol but yeah psn players gotta chill and xbox players you'll be happy when you get your hands on Hawkmoom and that Psion Flayers Strike, good bye have a good one all of you :)
edit: TL;DR psn exclusives aren't all that great except Hawkmoon and Psion Flayers Strike, stop console wars and unite. All consoles have ups and downs.

I agree with most, but disagree w/ Dust Palace. I'd rather play Undying Mind. I mainly play on xbox, but do have a ps4 as well, I just never play my account on it. I help my GF on hers from time to time, but haven't experienced the exclusive exotic weapons yet.

5 RepliesI play on both PS4 and XboxOne and I love the Xbox Live community better than PSN when it comes to Destiny. This is only my opinion but once PS4 loses its exclusive weapons and strike, XboxOne is going to dominate when both are on the same plain field.

The one time I decide to buy a game for my 360... Thanks for the words of encouragement. But as well intentioned as your letter is and as true as this may be, I would still like to judge for myself. No matter if the content is lame or awesome, it's still a dick move having us Xbox players sit on the bench for who knows how long because of reasons.

If you think of the exclusives as a free dlc for Xbox then it seems better. We will get several new strikes and weapons that will get us to play even longer if you want to collect all exotics and for me will make ROC strikes (or whatever the highest strike will be called) more fun.

The two big issues I have with the exclusives aren't that they exist or even how good they are but the duration of the exclusivity and the amount of content locked from us in relation to what's actually in the game at present. Don't get me wrong, Call of Duty has a months exclusivity for dlc with Xbox and there are other similar deals on both sides bothered also the console exclusive weapons in other games but they're little extras. In a game with a limited number of exotics we currently miss out on 4 and where there's only 6 strikes PS gets and additional 3. (sorry if I got the numbers wrong). It's a comparatively high percentage of the game were locked out of for a long period of time for the same price. If it was a weapon or two that I could live with. But it's currently a lot of content we lose out on - regardless of quality.

I've played on both Sony and Microsoft consoles and enjoyed them both. They are both good consoles. The Xbox beat out the ps2 on graphics and Microsoft had a really bad run with the 360. All in all there's a reason they are the leaders in the game industry. Enjoy what you play on whatever it may be. I love games so, I have an equal love for both. Game on comrades.

Couldnt care what any consol gets tbh i like my Xbox be all and end all, if i had the choice with more or less content and the less content was xbox I would pick xbox again my reasons are Halo Gears of war Forza Titanfall To me its a list of games i wanted to play never seen a Ps title that made me regret buying xbox

1 ReplyWhether they are good or not is not the issue, that bungie gave you exclusives is not the issue. The issue is that they gave them to you for a year which is almost long enough for many modern games to become irrelevant. I support ps4/3 players getting so perks as you should i would just like to have us all agree a year is too much no matter what platform you play on as we all like the game and we all should want to enjoy the same aspects with as many other people in the community get to enjoy. The you weren't cheated or you did get these items you just can't access them yet in this specific situation is hit below the belt to to expect players to just get over a never seen before example of what seemed like a cheap shot on xbox that missed xbox and hit players instead. I hope you enjoy those items i look forward to using them as well, but i still have a negative taste about it.

3 RepliesOh yeah it sucks that an entire user base are missing out on content in a game that barely has any content to begin with but hey what can ya do right? Be ready for more exclusives at E3 though especially since destiny sold 2 times more on ps4 than any other system out there.
