Destiny PvP Needs Help...

Alright so I love PvP. I love shooting people and working with my Clan and or meeting up with new people and playing matches with them. I don't. I repeat I don't enjoy playing this game by myself (unless in Rumble). With most competitive shooters you have 2 selections. Ranked and Unranked (or Social if you will). Now the difference is almost damn obvious between the two. Ranked- Matches you with people close to your skill level. Social or Unranked- Anything goes, it doesn't emphasize on your skillset level. It's mostly fun. Now, I have read the forums enough to know that I am not alone in having the issue of what would be known as shitty teammates. I don't blame the teammates. I blame the matchmaking system. Lets say that I currently hold a top 1 percent score and my DTR is roughly average- high. Being that I have over a million in crucible medal score on one of my characters you would think that if I decide to casually play some Control or Clash then the game would/should attempt to match me with people in that category. Right? Well it does, just not in that order. I find myself alone in a team of 6 (low grim and if I DTR them low DTR scores and kills) against at least 3-5 Top 1 percenters with high DTR scores and medals. Instead of being equally matched I am crucified for having good runs. I can pack my team but do I seriously want to be a try hard when my team is acting like this is a tutorial? Ummm hells no. This renders larger matches unplayable to me without a team. Being fed to the wolves is not what I am all about. Now I have seen the same shit said over and over and over by many ppl on the forums about shitty teammates, being matched over and over with teams of top 1 percenters. Why does the game penalize you for being a so called good player? I think about my Halo days. Halo 2 with an actual ranking system, and social lists. Go play hard with your friends in ranked going up against the most hardcore players and testing your might and mental will against the baddest mother f.uckers in that universe. Did you ever want to run into a ranked match by yourself? Not really. Did you walk into social matches by yourself? Yeah. So to break this down in layman's terms for Bungie I do believe the community needs a few things before they can enjoy this game PvP wise. We need Ranked and Social Matches. I'm going to keep it simple. I'm not asking for some better Objective matches, which would be nice but lets keep it simple for now. You can tell that the Microsoft crutch is no longer around to lean on so shit has changed. Did it have to change and regress as if you forgot how to do neat objectives? No. Anyone remember Headhunter on halo Reach? Fun as hell, but I digress. So a Ranking system would make total sense. People are judging other people's skills off of Grim, which Grim can tell you about tenure it doesn't say much about skill. You can ALMOST judge someone by that but not completely. Someone with 2900 grim could have done billions of strikes and raids but at the same time have less than a 1000 kills in crucible, so that isn't that great of a ranking system. I respect the higher grim guys, they do more grinding then I'm willing to do and they earned it, mostly. To have a PvP rank on your Tag would be nice. LIke oh hey Jon is a f.uckin level 40 Commander in Control. Dayum that dude is beast! So lets match him up with 35s-50's saying 50 is max or so. With each level milestone gained you get an Emblem to match the faction you are supporting with rank within that faction. Right? The ranking system shouldn't be a breast fed system like we have in a lot of games. You know like the more you play win or lose you get to go up. No. If you lose you should be taken down a notch, if you are on a lose streak you should be taken down to even out your score. If you beat people with Much higher level than yours you should get an Exp boost toward your scores. I really don't think I am alone here. Even if no one agrees, they have already agreed in previous posts. Lets move on to a more casual experience. Combined arms has almost that kind of feel. It mixes it up with some goofy shit. Vehicles are wonky as balls in this game, the interceptor is a damn joke and turrets, hahah or sniper targets. A game type with heavies spawning roughly every 1.5-2 minutes is just funny to me. This should definitely be a social playlist. "But Warbeard, Social is a word that Halo still uses... *whispers -we can't do that. " Oh well ok call it "Casual" there. Done. Skyshock was Made for some Casual shit. For real that map is stupid huge for 6v6. Some maps are stupid small for 6v6 and I'm sure you can all guess what those are. Just fix this shit, act like you know what you're doing guys. This PvP system does not reflect the Bungie I have known since 2001. 15 Years Since Halo to bring us a real sorry experience in PvP. Lets do this right. Ranked Matches with Ranking Systems- Limit Supers and Orbs. Strip Certain Perks off of Certain Weapons or have only Ranked PvP Weapon Sets to use. "But no Warbeard, I can't stack my team with 6 Hawkmoons or TLWs. Or all of us shoot all rounds of our sniper rifles so we can get the Bonus Last Round Damage" Make Weapons that are Geared for Ranked play, so you can stop breaking all of your weapons. Auto Rifles got f.ucked so hard. So hard. The poor Vex, Lmao the poor vex. Make some sense of this circus guys, 15 years since Halo I think you can do it. I heard Halo 5 (when it works) is very balanced. Social, I mean Casual playlists that way you can take new players in that aren't sure about PvP without getting a team of stacked hard asses kicking your friends asses so hard that they never look at PvP again. Come on. I have literally had guys say "Dude I am not playing PvP with you, everytime I do I get my shit pushed in. The guys you play are hardcore. I would rather play alone." Which made me think, why? So I started DTR'ing and checking the stats of most ppl I play with and against. I see the pattern and its a real shitty one. I can spend a whole day with a great team with High Levels of DTR and Top 1 percenters and have a great day. Stack my team with some of my casual friends who would like to play for fun and we are finding Hardcore Tournament style matches, LoL making me feel bad for my guys, and kind of like a total dick for dragging them in there. Obviously the numbers are dropping in your playlists because I am getting repeat enemies in certain playlists. I get matched with alot of the same guys more frequently. PvP is dying out and it needs a new lemon scented cleansing. Most updates are polishing turds and leaving turds in other corners. Stop it. Fix your shit. Like, soon. Not in Destiny 2.
