Alright so considering the shortage of Current-Gen Limited editions I have resorted to basically reserving the PS3 Limited Edition with a Standard PS4 game. Pricey yes but still cheaper than the options on eBay. It is a temp fix just to hold onto a Limited Edition in case I don't happen to find a PS4 version randomly listed elsewhere. My question is a little complex so I'll need someone from Bungie specifically to answer considering none of us can really know this for sure yet. By redeeming any DLC at launch for the PS3 version of the game, would that in-turn allow the same content to be available to me on PS4 BEFORE even creating my character? Say I go to gamestop, pick up my Limited Edition, open it and sell back ONLY the disc to GameStop to use as credit toward the PS4 disc. I then go home, install the disc to my PS4 and redeem the PS3 DLC codes. Now, would that DLC be instantly available on both platforms before I even start the game or would I need to access the content trough a PS3 first by creating a character and what not on my PS3 and THEN once my character is created and the content is linked to the account, I can finally access it all on my PS4 end? I'm just trying to do this to cut as much cost as possible considering this lack of supply and impeccably timed announcement have thrown me for a collective loop. To try and summarize my question a little better: If I redeem any DLC at launch that is intended for use on PS3, will I have to initially access it on my PS3 or can I just redeem it as if it were PS4 DLC and even though it came with the PS3 game it will be readily available for my character regardless of platform? P.S. Would definitely like some help here considering some serious money is going into this because me and multiple friends are resorting to this method and we don't wanna get -blam!-ed over after spending $150 for this crappy workaround.
