Special weapon events each day. Let's say they choose hand cannons for Monday. You lvl any hand cannon you use that day up faster than you would another day. They can also make it where enemies have increased drop rates if killed by that specific gun on that day. Another ideal would be to create special pvp playlist that only allows that weapon to be used. It would motivate players to use different weapons instead of the same weapons they normally would use.
