Make ships useful
Ships should do something more than just be eye candy. Why not allow ships to have abilitys that act like killstreaks and can drop amo or an air strike or other fun things.

You realize that entire 2nd inventory screen is for cosmetic items, yeah? Don't start with the Sparrow. They give you a green one.
