Never in my life have I seen an fps with this strong of an aim assist. Way too many people rely on it and it needs to be to be toned down allot.

Edited by cronshaw8: 3/31/2015 1:31:40 PMI'd be interested to see how many of the people clamoring for this have actually played a shooter on console w/out aim assist Players who turned it off would get crushed by players who didn't Edit for OP I realize you aren't specifically asking for a toggle so my post is more a response to the people asking for that since these aim assist discussions always end up there

It's actually a hindrance most of the time, I want the option to turn it off!
-
In the crystal room when your fighting crota its ridiculous

Edited by Afawafa: 3/31/2015 6:07:54 AMIt'd be nice to have an option to have it turned off. Would be funny in crucible to see people turn it off because of the sticky reticule. Then they realise they can't aim for shit when the hitbox for enemy critical spots isn't the size of Jupiter anymore and the reticule doesn't stick to the target so well. Aim assist does far more good than harm for a large majority of players.

Turning it off doesn't help can't believe this hasnt been fixed yet
-
It sucks when you're shooting someone and their teammate runs in front of them and the sight follows the guy running in front. Anddddd your dead
-
There's been tons of posts asking for an aim assist toggle so we can't turn it off. Bungie doesn't listen.
-
Not just aim assist. Bullet magnetism, too. I can't even snipe an ogre over a rock because the magnetism draws the shot down to his nut sack when I'm aiming for the top of its forehead.
-
I was playing crucible and I was aiming down a headshot on a guy but as soon as I pulled the trigger another guy comes between us on his sparrow and it auto locked on him and I ended up killing the guy completely by accident. It was hilarious.
-
We need an option to turn it off
-
I agree. They need to just take it out completely. I hate it when there is a group of enemies and the aim assist jumps between all of them.
-
Yeah I agree that the auto aim is too much. I don't really care about how it helps others aim, but it bugs me how it messes with my own aim. I think that the auto aim is part of the reason that the shotgun slide is so effective. I've noticed that when I have a guy sliding at me, the auto aim can go haywire and I can't shoot the guy before he gets me.
-
*in cruicible* Shit just saw a scope glint better counter snipe this guy. *pulls rifle takes aim lines up headshot* oh yeah gotcha now you sneaky lil scoundrel. *random oblivious enemy runs by tracking locks him* SPLAT Respawn in 3 2 1
-
I don't think it would be as much of a problem if the radius of detection wasn't so high.
-
Messes with my when there are mobs... Don't get rid of it though. I think giving us an option to turn it off is the best solution.

I notice how strong it was when I was playing warframe ,and for some reason I was expecting my hand to move to where the enemy was running towards ,but I just kept shooting on where he was standing .it made me realize that I relied so much on the auto assist lol
-
I like it I can play it one hand and still kill people
-
Signed. Give us the option to turn it off.

ya its obscene
