Meanwhile, I'm 30 Dead Orbit with no Revenant. A buddy is 40/30/30 without it (he basically quit Destiny because of that).
In no way never nowhere should this be a thing.
It's stupid that Bungie set up a grind fest game, but actually reward you for not grinding, but being a douche. It's stupid that they "fix" PvP by nerfing skillful weapons and making cheap weapons OP as f*ck. But leave the real glaring issues untouched.

Well shotguns in PvP. My team in control full of over 20 people with good weapons and skill getting rekt by level 3-8 shotgun runners :/

7 RepliesI agree. I understand it's rng but let's be honest, it's not. We see lower players consistently being rewarded for poor performance. I myself have been awarded for jumping in a nightfall and I felt like a -blam- for it. What needs to happen - Allow RNG to continue but base it on a percentage award. For example - 1st place - 4.5% chance of exotic 2nd place - 3% chance of exotic 3rd place - 1.5% chance of exotic (Bungie can play with the numbers). It means everyone has a chance of being rewarded but those of higher skill have a greater chance. Love to hear your opinions.

This post confuses the hell out of me. OP, who had already done the nightfall ran it right to the end or sherpa'd under leveled characters through, but is then upset when those people get rewards?

I was doing an ROC strike a couple of weeks ago and had the same thing happen. The guy that sat at the start point from beginning to end received the last word. Myself and the other got some rare items that I dismantled.

RNG should scale with % against rank and time. Plus scale as well against items you do not have this increasing the chance of getting that missing item rather than hundreds of dupes!!

This game like life is not always fair. Sucks it up, or the rest of your life will be more difficult than necessary. Why not be happy for the guy that got thunderlord, it will change you life.

you clearly already did the mission because you got NOTHING. even RNG doesn't do that. you'd get coins or shards or something.

I feel for ya. My 2nd VoG ever on Hard mode, a clan brought me in at atheon check point to teach me the strategies. I died at the first teleported and spectated Atheon's death. In the end, I got Vex Mythoclast (when it was the holy grail) ....and when I got it, I said "guys, what's vex mythoclast?" So now when I get screwed from RNG like you did, I remember that day.

That is a major problem. All exotics should be like the bountys. Nice and difficult to obtain
