Queen's Wrath suggestions

What could happen is you do the bounties like before and do the missions but, at the end you could have a chance for a Mysterious White Engram. It'd be a white Engram with a purple question mark inside, and what you'd do with that engram is take it to the Cryptarch, then after decrypting it, you'd either get a: Auto Rifle Ticket, Pulse Rifle Ticket, Scout Rifle Ticket, Hand Cannon Ticket, Shotgun Ticket, Sniper Rifle Ticket, Fusion Rifle Ticket, Machine Gun Ticket or a Rocket Launcher Ticket. Now when you get this you take it to the Queen's Wrath Vendor and you will receive said white weapon, now each white weapon will come with a challenge to upgrade it to its next tier, so it'd go white, green, blue then purple. Every time you upgraded your weapon to its next tier ( after completed said challenge) you'd have to fork over 50 of a material (Spirit Blooms for example) then after you got it to purple, you'd be able to pay 10,000 glimmer for one perk of your choice while all the other ones would be random, but if you can fork over 20,000 glimmer you can pick both. You could balance this by making no OP perks overlap, example; you can't get Grenades and horseshoes and tracking on a rocket launcher or Rangefinder and Shotpackage on a shotty. Also after picking up your hard earned legendary you can name it and give it your own description ( name tags would be sold by Xur and would cost 10 strange coins each) there would be 20 characters for the name and 50 for the description Feel free to tell me what you think of this below (Also for the aesthetics, what you could do is the vendor would sell shaders for your gun once you progressed further into the ranks and also you could use faction shaders! Like dead orbit and new monarchy shaders)

  • I could get into this. It has plenty of game time to get them all...and get to pick the element

  • This sounds awesome. Bungie should hire you.

    • Sounds awesome. It would be a major over-time commitment from the sound of it, though - not like IB, where you can stamp out the perfect weapon all in one week if Saladin happens to be selling it. I like that difference, though. Destiny needs more things that you work for over time without relying on RNG.

    • Sounds like a really great, thought out idea that definitely could work. The deal is that Bungie may see this, but probably won't consider it.

    • I like this idea, but I don't think it will ever happen.

      • I like the idea. Similar to the husk of the pit. Since they wouldn't be exotics have you upgrade from the white shell, to rare, then legendary.
