Husk of the Pit? HELP!?
I've grinded for this thing multiple times and have yet to receive it however, I have a crux of crota.
What's really messed up is the crux us exotic and the husk is a common weapon yet after hours of grinding haven't received it!
I've tried everywhere a blade would spawn and the fist of crota. I have even used black wax idols and jackolytes to try and help my odds to no avail.
To those of you who say nechrocasm isn't worth it I just want to have it as its the last exotic weapon I need to complete my exotics (check the Grimore).
If anyone at all knows a different trick please tell me.
What gets to me the most is the husk is supposed to be a common f[b]u[/b]cking item but I still can't get it! I literally got the crux before the Husk! That means that the color coded rarity doesn't mean anything!
I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my words and I apologize for the vulgarity but someone please tell me how to get this ([b]common[/b]) weapon called Husk of the pit!?

Grinded for ages. No drops so i gave up. This is in the fist of crota mission. Received crux of crota with no husk. Decided to try my luck. Boom husk dropped first time since i gave up. 2 hours later im doing the bounty where u have to kill the knights with blades. Boom, another husk. Dont worry man, u will get it soon

This is why RNG is so -blam!-ed. You grind it out time and time again all the way to already getting a crux of crota, and don't get a husk. I come back after a several month hiatus and kill a few blades of crota, and I don't even have the dlc yet, but a husk drops for me.

I feel bad for you. I got one while being afk, and I got another one after killing a blade during an omnigul strike (or on patrol, not sure). And of course I don't have the crux since I don't raid much. I'd trade it if I could.

create a new character and try it again by grinding the sword on earth

It's random. Keep Fisting Crota.

I have three or four. All from the fist. Keep doing it. Necrochasm needs a buff, it really does but it's still a fun gun.

Just keep doing Fist of Crota, it will drop eventually:)

I always seem to get one every time I kill a blade at the divide with my warlock

Don't bother the gun is totally worthless and isn't worthy of your exotic slot or your vault space

I really is random, a friend of mine is still searching for it as well. I have had 2 drop buy others I know get them constantly

Just kill blades of Crota. I must have dismantled about a dozen husks so far.

Just run the mission "fist of crota", kill the sword bearer, leave or die and repeat until you get it, I promise you will after a while, I did and have gotten two husks, others I know ave gotten many more

The moment you stop searching for it, it will drop. I've been around the cosmodrome at the array station, lots of enemy's there and ofc the npc war. Also you could grind the first Crota mission... But it takes longer.

1 ReplyGot mine purely random from one of the sword chaps on the cosmodrome... The knight where the witch is.... (Can't remember her name) Anyway, redid the level twice straight after and got it again and so did my nephew who came with me from the same knight

It took me over seven hundred times doing the fist of Crota to get it. There's no trick, there's nothing you can do to increase the drop rate. Just keep trying.

Do you have 1 of each character made? I had to make a third character be for my husk would even drop lol!
