Don't kill the shrieker!!!
Its a great indicator for when the wizards and knights leave, and the fuqin death blasts that purple ball shits out after dying.... I seriously hope my team mates die if they kill that shrieker.
Edit: this was more of a rant, and its about nightfall. Sorry for not clearing that up. Have a great day ^_^

I killed it many times and it didn't make a difference to our team we just killed them with ease

Okay.. I had to do the weekly and nightfall several times this week. Not only for all my characters, but for my other friends. But, every time in the weekly that we got paired with someone (third person) they kept trying to kill or KILLED the shrieker. Every time they tried we would go and hit the player as to physically tell them to stop shooting at it. If they didn't get the picture then when they died we didn't revive them. I'm sorry, but that shit is annoying. If they have made it to a high enough level to do the weekly then they know that killing the shrieker can potentially kill is all. All because the player couldn't wait a few seconds for it to despawn then they don't get revived. DONT KILL THE SHRIEKER DAMN IT!!

I had this problem too. I just backed up and watched the stoopid titans waste ammo and time trying to kill the knights and wizards at the door.

I did kill the Shrieker the first time as I thought I was playing with some dumb jerks who didn't know the Shrieker spawned if you stayed in the beginning area. Other guy starts stabbing me so I assume something's wrong? I quickly learned what they were doing. Now I only do this if the entire team is doing it too, as I know that if I go out there and try to do the strike properly, I'll probably be outnumbered and die AND won't be revived because well, jerks. Phogoth is probably one of the easiest raids. I like to take cover behind the walls near the entrance or the rocks on the far left. I'm still not a big fan of this strategy, as the game is obviously spamming Wizards and Knights and Shriekers as a way of telling you to gtfo that room. But whatever, I'll try to play nice and stick with my teammates.

7 RepliesBeginning room is NOT the best strategy. Use the beginning room to clear the ads, especially the boomer knights down by Phogoth. Do NOT shoot Phogoth as it breaks his chains. Once all ads are cleared, the whole team goes over to the rock at left by where the drop ships come in. Phogoth still in chains. Now, one person shoots Phogoth and releases his chains. All back to the rock. No wizards, all other enemies stay away, possibly 2 thrall and a regular knight off a drop ship will come over there. Trick is all three teammates must go to the rock together! Soooooooooo much easier than the room, and no one should die.

I was having a suck ass nightfall the other night. We couldn't help but hang back as we're getting our asses reamed. Happens... So didn't want to take any risks. Was in a party with one friend and another randomly jumped into my fireteam, but he didn't have comms to join the party. He kept shooting the shrieker and was oblivious to the other dudes punching, shooting and dancing in front of him to block his shots. So dodged the purple blobs of doom and proceed to on with our objective, then what happens again? He's shooting the shrieker again...!!!! Blam-ing stopppppppp... !!! Punch, stab, dancing, bullets flying everywhere and he's still oblivious... :-(

2 RepliesThere is a much easier way fight him without staying in the shrieker room. Kill all of the ads outside before you shoot Phogoth, and start shooting Phogoth once you get rid of all the ads. Takes like 30 seconds with maxed arc machine guns

I do it on purpose during weeklies. It's not like a weekly with a modifier is actually hard.
