Are you the a- hole in raids ?? confession time!
So I just had a great experience doing Vog Wasn't used to it cuz in the past I always had douches on my team . I posted how great it was not to have an ass for a leader and other people agreed that asses ruin the raid!!!
Where are these ass holes that we all run into ???? If you are one of the asssholes that kick people, yell at people for dying, insist on certain weapon or level, or just plain act like u are God, then fess up here!!!
Edit: lerpol is gamertag of raid's biggest ahole.

I play with randoms every time, and since I'm not the one to put the team together I usually don't talk much at first. If everything goes to shit though and people don't know what they are doing I tend to try and take control of the raid. Maybe that makes me an asshole to some people but I try and avoid doing it in a rude way as that just creates more problems than it solves.

I wouldn't call myself an asshole, but I do have certain requirements for things. For VoG: I like to do legit. I don't like sniping Oracles and Templar from up top, so having experience doing it legit is nice. If you don't know I'll explain. I won't kick. VoG weapons: As I like doing Oracles legit, I would like to see at lease ONE VoG weapon with at least Oracle damage unlocked. The same would apply for the Atheon encounter. Crota: I do the second bridge legit. So have knowledge of how to pick up the sword, go across and kill the gatekeeper would be nice. 99% of the time though, people say they don't know, but I'll gladly explain. Tracking rockets: Don't have to be a Gjallahorn, as long as it hits Crota. I don't mind LMG's either, so long as the weapons you are using are 331. Level don't matter to me. I'll gladly take a 29 through VoG. I did VoG hard loads of time at 29 before the Crota DLC came out. Same for Crota. I'll take a 29/30 through Normal and a 30/31 through Hard.

I'm the guy in our team who is generally quick to call out improves when needed and generally lead when needed but with the team I run its never necessary. In other groups I assume everyone knows what they are doing and stay quiet. That being said the last run I had was with this dude a friend of ours invited. Barked orders, got mad when he noticed I was running sword breaker(I do this when I run sword, fire a couple rockets one down and blast him in the face). And then for sword number three got all snarky cause instead of trying to hit him 5 times I played it safe and went invisible before the last 2 hits. I enjoy watching this occur, I know and assume everyone else knows what to do, so I just stay quiet except for call outs of my own plan or a conversation arises

Tell me how you're not an asshole for doing a level 30 raid as a level 27, with a rare rl, not contributing at all, just because you're too lazy to gring roc strikes.

1 ReplyOnly sometimes. Once I got a big group of noobs to line up on the edge of the cliff at the Templar cp and me and my friend shoulder charged all of them off. I've also done that on the nexus strike to AFK's or campers.

I kick people out of raids, usually once every other week, I don't care if you don't have gear or all that bullshit (I won't kick you for that). I'll strait up kick you if your annoying (sorry, not spending an hour listening to someone talk gibberish), if you can't speak at all (I'm on the Xbox one which does come with a mic, use it), if you lie (I've been though the raids 20 times, go look, zero raids competed, yes we can see how many you have completed). Last person I kicked, when he immediately got in the party he asked if we could hear him 15 times, we said yea we can, he then started to explain how he wasn't sure if we could hear him because we just kept going with the conversation that was taking place at the time, again, he did this multiple times. So yeah, he got kicked. Mind you that my team will openly talk to each other about kicking you while you can hear us, it's not a huge surprise that it is coming, it's a team decision. some people just don't mix well. So yeah, I'm an àss that will fûcking kick you, but 10 out of 10 times, it's because your are an àss and you deserve it (you pissed off 5 other players)

I'm a joy in raids. I did get kicked accidentally from a raid yesterday for the reason "the party leader was being a fag". Fag noun 1.Slang. a cigarette.

You're a douche for saying "32's only" for VoG. 6 months ago didn't have 32's, had to beat it and was easily possible with a mix of 29's and 30's. - also asking for all 32's and wiping at oracles and Templar - pathetic. Just as fast sometimes quicker to do it straight up, I mean since you're such a powerful 32 and all... Coming from a 3 lvl 32 guardian.

1 ReplyI don't turn into an ass until the 3rd or 4th wipe and nobody is willing to man up on "who died and how?" Or we are dying on oracles and the inside team refuses to call for help. Or if someone that's dead wants to yammer about random things while the people alive are trying to communicate about how to carry his dead ass. So I have a bit of a long fuse...

I am the biggest asshole towards my own clan mates who sometimes -blam!- around, talk about random stuff, delay a wipe, shouts and those sort of stuff. Nowadays, i just mute them, and go on with it :)

Of the couple I partook in, nobody was willing to offer guidance. I'm not on now but will try to be on within next 24 hours. I'm also looking to score a void primary, as I'm having trouble with thorn bounty with special ammo drop changes. AE being the first obvious possibility. Level 30 warlock, gt same as above on 360. 2 RepliesYesterday i found a team to run Crota normal off of LFG. After knocking out Crota with no issues and getting my first Gally (Been playing since beta and finally got the Gally yesterday) i offered them the Gorgon CP that i had on my toons. We were getting the chest when one of them asked do we want to just finish Atheon quick. We all agreed, ran the maze, nailed the jumping puzzle and wrecked the gatekeeper. Our first atheon run failed as people forgot to shoot oracles (had 2 30's and not sure if they had ever ran VOG before). Anyways after wiping we were able to down atheon in 1 relic with 5 blackhammers and weapons of light. Best atheon run i ever did. Moral of the story, most players are good players and mistakes happen, live with it move on.
