If The Arena Isn't as Good as VoG...
I will probably slit my vas deferen and poke a hole in each of my testicles. If they delay it two months I expect some serious shit. Not one person can run it flawlessly. I want it to be more teamwork like the VoG. If it is like Crotas End where one person damages the boss I will eat my bleeding ball sack.

I'm with you on that one. I've only done CE about 5 times and I hate it. I love the VoG. VoG is so much more fun than CE. I hate how most everyone uses a gjallarhorn to do CE and a swordbearer is the only way to damage him. Atheon gets his ass whooped now but he's way more fun to kill than Crota.

They should make each wipe cost you all the gear you are wearing, and the weapons you have equipped. People would grind ROC's like crazy to get good rare gear to take in.

It's possible to complete with a team of 5 but survival is not guaranteed. The shards & energy will be different from vog and crota shards/energy (ascendant /radiant) The new weapons will have an max attack power of 365. --edit- All old exotic weapons and gears need to be reset again.

2 RepliesI'm going to give HoW a shot. If it's not up to par with VoG I'm going to move on and I'll likely play the expansion for a time after that. Not that Destiny isn't a bad game ( I really really like it, flaws and all ) but I'm tired. I'm just burnt out doing the same crap over and over. I'm content with the weekly/nightfall missions one or two nights a week now. I've no desire/need to raid anymore. Sometimes I'll run a VoG run on normal just for fun. Because....that's STILL fun. And Swordbreaker + Praetorian = BIG GRIN.

Fight a huge war guns blazing to get into some fortress where the house of wolves is planning a mass resurrection with their prime servitor. During the huge fight the ally fallen are killed but were enough of a help to get you inside. It is now dark but lit dim enough to barely see throughout a long maze to get farther inside. Stealth vandels will attack you the entire time. Upon completing the maze everything is now fully lit and the players must split into groups and complete a task while fending off enemies to open the final door. During this time there will also be 2 walkers attacking each group. Arriving at the boss area you see the servitor encased in a large machine and it is consistently spawning enemies from dregs to archons and more. The rest of the team must cover one or two players as they disable the machine. One disabled the servitor is released and the final battle ensues.

3 RepliesI reckon the arena is going to have nothing to do with the raid. The name "arena" makes me think it will be an area for guardians to do something cool. Maybe join independent matchmaking groups that are solely in a part of the arena for a specific task, such as a raid group, or nightfall group, or a control group. Whatever the type, but i just think it is more an area to fill in blanks they made elsewhere. Also, maybe the queen will be there with her queens wrath stuff on constantly like Eris does. Maybe that's why we are not seeing that mode return, and instead it's constant iron banner.

I don't like how in Crota only one person can damage him.. I'll give you that much. As far as "teamwork" people better get their shit together for that! Some people will hit 32 and still not know how to do something so simple as use the relic in VoG
