Is this a known issue?

When getting precision kills for certain perks such as Firefly or Outlaw, the effects of the perks do not trigger, even if it really was a precision kill. I'm thinking this might be due to the fact that the gun itself isn't killing the enemies, but rather the explosive round damage. This bug is most noticeable on the Fatebringer, as it has the two perks listed above. I've even resorted to taking off explosive rounds (doing less damage) just so I can actually utilize these perks. So, just want to know, is this a known issue, and is going to be fixed (pls)?

The area damage from explosive rounds is not precision damage. If that damage is considered to kill the enemy, perks based in precision kills will not fire. Essentially, explosive rounds, and precision kill perks, do not mix very well.

    • Its been known but I don't think they consider it an issue because I could see how it could be a bit over powered with both explosive rounds and firefly
