First read the faction Grimoire cards, both the main and the ghost fragment ones. My question is, which faction do you really think is correct and the best choice for the city to follow? I'm not talking biased opinions because one has a cooler shader or cooler weapons than another, I'm talking morally. New Monarchy appears to have a good solid base of rules and conduct. At first glance they seem to be the obvious choice but there was one thing that threw me off about them. If you look at the final part of what their goal is, they want to eliminate the consensus and put in a single sovereign leader. This leader is also unimpeachable. If we look at our own history we know that a monarchy is not often a good form of government and can easily lead to a dictatorship. One person should not be given so much power over the city. Dead Orbit has an interesting goal. They are obsessed with exploring and possibly leaving our own planet by building a massive fleet. This could be good or bad in the long run. We could find another planet far away that's free from the darkness or we could be left to eternally wander the galaxy as nomads. But who's to say the darkness will not follow us? I don't believe that most of the citizens of the city will be willing to leave the Traveler, although I suspect the Traveler itself to have sinister motives. Also there is a reference to a planet classified as A-113, I think, that they basically erased from files and recordings for unknown reasons. Future War Cult is by far the most mysterious. Obviously the are the most war-minded of the three factions and perhaps rightly so. They have a machine supposedly capable of showing volunteers the future and many saw a future of the city being destroyed. Though at the same time many of the participants were driven insane because the human mind was not made to handle such information. As I said, supposedly they saw the future but there is no way to verify this. Future War Cult also doesn't seem to hesitate to keep secrets. Comment your thoughts below.
