Is it possible to get a Red Panda as a pet in Ohio or New Zealand?
Also any tips on taking care of them?
I've been doing research but I'm having difficulty finding some of the info to make sure it's possible to own one in one of those two places.
Edit: They're a vulnerable species. So I'd like to increase their population even if my impact is tiny.
Help is always appreciated Flood.

Because you're sooooo qualified to take care of an endangered species.

Likely not possible, since the animal is endangered, and justifiably so. An endangered animal shouldn't be kept as a house pet. They should be kept among others of their own kind until the species can be revitalized somehow, if anything. They are cute little buggers, though. I can agree with you on that.

I do 2 lol. The other day I found out it's my spirit animal
its a panda... With a tail!
Like you already know, they're endangered, but I don't think that should be a disqualifier for you not to have one if you take care of it. Hell, get 2 and breed them. Look at the chinchilla. They're nonexistent in the wild, but no where near extinct because of, and this is going to sound weird, the fur trade. If chinchillas weren't bred for fur and then later sold as pets, they would have been extinct decades ago.

I assume you like red panda because you want one right? Then the best thing would be to leave them were their at. They're not pets.

I want a warg as a pet. Life is full of broken dreams.

Pretty sure you can't have an endangered species as a pet.

I'm pretty sure they're endangered, but they are damn cute.
