How to beat blade dancers
Everybody always complains that blade dancers are OP and that's the reason why I shelved my mask of the 3rd man and now wear my symbiote. Here are some tips of how to kill a blade dancer from a former blade dancer. As a hunter gunslinger: a well aimed knife along with fire damage and a swordbreaker does the job pretty damn good. I'm usually the one tea bagging at the end. As a blade dancer is a little more challenging but it's doable. You spot the hunter just throw a well aimed grenade and again swordbreaker. I always just pretend to get a bull true medal. As a Titan defender is the easiest. The traveler gave you bubbles for a reason so use them. There's absolutely no reason why in a game of control as we're taking over a zone I run into the bubble of protection to gain weapons of light. Armor of light people!!! Just stay in the bubble!!! Blessing of light does good too but armor is better!!! Striker, shoulder charge nuff said and if he's still alive resort to your shotty. I just started my warlock recently because I've always just played with hunter until recently that I decided to make the other two character. But from what I could tell for warlocks it's the hardest and haven't had the chance to play with in the crucible but if anybody else knows how please post!!!

It's certainly possible, I've done it a couple times but usually at a fair distance before they close the gap. Supers will take them out as well as heavy. It's not easy at close range, but if two people hit him at the same time with a powerful weapon such as a sniper, shotty, fusion rifle, or a few times each with primary he will go down. Most people are caught off guard by bladedancers or panic and try to run. If I'm far enough away I'll opt to run. Otherwise you stand a better chance if everyone immediately teams up on them

3 RepliesEdited by SparedNutria0: 3/9/2015 2:34:59 PMAs a Bladedancer, I'd like to say that running into a Titan bubble is one of those risks that I love to take (talking about from the Bladedancer's perspective here) If I see that the Titan and his buddies inside a Titan bubble have a shield of some sort, it's either Blessing or Armor of Light. Usually I'll just charge in and start swinging, and I'd like to say 4 times out of 5, I kill the Titan. Then the bubble goes down, and if it was Armor of Light, then no one has it anymore, and everyone else is an easy target. Bubbles are not the safest, but they definitely can help or even deter a Bladedancer, yes.

There's a lot of things that can counter a bladedancer these days. I wouldn't say it's particularly OP compared to any other super. The only thing that it has to its advantage is more kill potential.

2 RepliesEdited by duzton: 3/9/2015 6:51:13 PMShoulder charge will not kill a Bladedancer unless he is already hurt a good bit. It's also very easy for the Titan to be killed inside if the bubble I think if takes 2 hits from a Bladedancer, which can be done very fast.

The titan suppressor granade cancels supers. Use it right and you'll shut off a gunslinger, bladedancer, sunslinger, even stop a titan from rushing foh

1 ReplyWhen I get killed in arc blade it's my fault not some secret strats. I either activated in an open area where enemies can run and back pedal or I get greedy and try to kill too many opponents. Or I get unlucky and run into a charged super. Arc blade has been nerfed so it's not really that op now. Shotgun and melee and your dead now.

2 RepliesThere is no way to outsmart an intelligent bladedancer. The combination of invisibility so you can't see them coming on your radar, or razors edge waves hitting you from down the hallway, or blinking to you like a -blam!-ing weeping angel. If you can kill a Bladedancer, you're just the better player. Nuff said.

I normally run gunslinger but tried out blade dancer a bit.....you want to know how to beat a blade dancer? Shotgun, I popped my blade dancer ran into a room where someone was hiding behind a corner and one hit killed me with his shotgun. I don't know if you can say "I ran into the room wrong" but being immediately one hit killed by a shotgun is just wrong.

One day in one match I took down at least ten blade dancers. Shotty then scorch, a grenade then shotty, or a grenade then melee. It depends on the grenades and shotgun you use though. Usually, I hit them with felwinter's lie then follow up with a melee or another shotgun blast.
