Hello everyone, We are finally back in business! I will now be accepting guardians to go through Crotas End too! Just a reminder I am not here to carry anyone through these raids so be ready to pull your own weight. I am looking for inexperienced or new guardians that are interested in learning the ways of the raid. There are too many posts on here excluding the new or inexperienced players that are willing to learn all about the Vault of Glass or Crota’s End. While I understand their frustration with new or inexperienced players (because I have dealt with many of them) I also believe that someone needs to help out those who are willing to take on the raid for the first time or don't understand some aspects of it. How else is anyone new supposed to learn how to do the raid? We were all inexperienced at some point. Now that I have done the raid a good amount of times myself, I am well aware of the common mistakes and mechanics of the raid. So now I want to help you. I have also come up with a guide that will ensure I don't miss any key information that needs to be passed to you at each section of the raid. I do have some requirements though. These are put in place for a reason and are vital to the success of the whole raid team. [b]-Have a mic. [/b] This is probably the most important part of the raid. Without communication (especially if you are new or inexperienced) a raid becomes very difficult if not impossible. And before you ask, just being able to hear us through your TV is not enough. [b]-Be willing to work as a team. [/b] There is no room in the raid for someone who wants to get the most kills and be a "hero." In fact, most of the time the guardian who has less kills than everyone else is usually the one who helped the most because many times we need to be putting as many bullets as we can into the bosses. We need to ALWAYS be working as a team or we will fail. [b]-Be at least level 26 or above for VoG or Level 30 for Crotas End. [/b] This is to ensure that there is quick run for everyone including myself. Since it is easier to get to a higher level now I request you guys get higher before attempting the raids. Anyone who does not meet this will not be put on the waiting list. I do many of these a week and have done a raid for as long as 11 hours before trying to help. With that in mind I want the best odds not only for myself so I don’t have to raid for that long again but also for the guardians I am teaching. Again I am not here to carry you through the raids but instead teach you so you can go on knowing what you are doing for other groups. [b]-Be willing to listen. [/b] If I am giving you instructions please follow them, because I am giving them to you for a reason. And do not tune me out or miss any instructions that I am giving you. It will be a lot of information so if you didn't understand something or missed what I said, let me know. Guardians who fail to follow instructions several times will be booted and removed from the wait list. [b]-Ask questions. [/b] This is a learning environment so if you don't understand something ask. [b]-Be patient and stay civil.[/b] While teaching I would like to give everyone a chance to learn all aspects of the VOG or Crota’s End, to include how to use a relic and what to do in and out of the portals and how to use a sword on Crota. We will die, and we will die often. With a new or inexperienced raid group the raid can span up to 4-5 hours, if not more. So please be patient and DO NOT attack anyone else in the raid group for doing something wrong. I want to have a comfortable fun environment for everyone. Also, don't get down on yourself if you die a lot or can’t jump though the disappearing pillar section, that happens to even the most veteran raid players. Anyone who is disrespectful to me or any of the other guardians will be booted. If you can meet these requirements listed above, then comment below. We may not be able to start right away because I will need a full team of 6 before we begin. Once that happens I will contact everyone in order of their posts and once we have the team together we will begin. I will also begin streaming some of the raids to help others that are still on the wait list. I will ask everyone before we start if they are okay with this and if not we will not stream the raid. I will also help with daily’s, weekly’s, and nightfall’s. I look forward to playing with you.
