If you own the Necrochasm you are more than likely disappointed in one way or another. I could try to persuade you to be in favor of my opinion(buff) but i'd like to see the communities ideas for the future of this Exotic weapon. Also, please like this thread to get it seen! More likes = more attention = more votes = more likely Bungie will see this.

Throw it in the garbage. Forget about it, it's a trophy resembling the experience of this game. Disappointment

It's definitely not worth the amount of time needed to get it. First you have to get lucky with a husk of the pit drop and get a load of hive kills. Then only after you get Eris to rank 3, which takes forever, you upgrade it to Edilon Ally. Do normal weapon progression. Get another load of hive kills to finish last node. Lastly you have to get lucky with a Crux of Crota to drop in Crota's End on hard. All that work, time and luck for an auto rifle with below average stats and perks that don't do anything special.

Edited by happyguy28: 3/6/2015 5:22:41 PMIt needs a buff in impact coupled with stability to make it matter. It doesn't have to be overpowered enough to break the game but should be of high enough quality that the people who get it as the "top" weapon from the Crota's End raid will actually use it. The number of players just stashing it should be a red flag to the guys at Bungie vs. the feedback that was recently received that it is "performing to design." I guess it was designed to be sub-par.

It needs both of those. Badly.
-
Why not both? :)
-
Its a shame because its actually quite fun to use. More impact/bigger mag/100% cursed thrall explosion. Then it would be awesome.

Buff impact and magazine this Weapon nerf a good buff
-
-
Edited by McBooya007: 3/8/2015 7:13:18 AMBuff both impact and magazine size. The impact needs to be at least 3 times what is, the magazine needs to be doubled.
-
Buff magazine, then buff auto rifles of this category.
-
Can you buff it for PvP too
-
Sadly the problem is not only Necrochasm, but what they are doing to Auto Rifles as a whole. They need to rollback the nerf on Auto Rifles and buff the higher Rate of Fire classes of Auto Rifles to make them competitive. Also, in science or in anything that you do, you NEVER adjust two things at the same time. If you only adjust one item, then you can guage the effectiveness of that adjustment in relation to all other factors. If you make two or more adjustments, you can never be sure which adjustment caused the balance/imbalance you percieve after the fact, or if the combined alterations had an interaction with eachother. If only one variable/function/system/item/object is altered, then you can identify the environmental changes that occured around it.

I would say buff anything, but buff it. As it is it's pretty much useless as a gun.
-
leave it alone it's perfect:D it's the best punch line since no land beyond
-
Increase the mag. then it will truly be "a bullet hose" you go through that mag so quickly. My biggest question for the gun as a whole is... Husk of the pit=27mag Eldon ally=47mag NECROCHASM=47mag... What? why not 67mag?

Bungie seriously needs to do something, this pathetic attempt either needs buffed or make it OP for 75 hours of playing time and when the time is up. Auto dismantle this freakin turd and let me choose a weapon.
-
Buff is clearly needed on both impact and mag
