Suggestion to VOG Secrets Seekers

I do remember DeeJ posting a notice regarding how many players had done Vault Of Glass and stuff and in that notice it said there are still secrets to be found. This may or may not be a legitimate quote but I have frequently been seeing this and I don't know of the origin. I added an underline, bold and italics to help understand my next theory. Quote: "You have found a pedestal. The chest was there at some point, it lies between future and past, but not present. Time is broken, but it can be fixed, for people have mended it before and left without questioning, what changed." Before I get to the Suggestion the real topic at hand, I just want to clarify what I understand about this quote and to see if anyone else can agree/disagree or even elaborate or give more ideas to what I'm about to explain. The way I see it: A pedestal is referred to as a base or support on which an object can be mounted on. In this case that object is a chest. Because Vault Of Glass has so much to do with time travel, the quote suggests that the chest appears somewhere in a different time period. But not present. Not present most likely meaning every single part of Vault of Glass up until time is fixed when Atheon is defeated. (Grimoire Card mentions that Atheon effects time) For those who don't know, mended can also mean repair. Once you defeat Atheon, time is repaired. Those who leave without questioning are most likely raiders who have left after receiving their "final" rewards. The last sentence in the quote suggests there is definitely something else or someway of finding a possible secret once the raid is complete. Now I'd like to explain my theory: By now people know that there is an alternate passageway to the Templars through that hole under the first chest. If you take a correct path you can lead yourself to the templars while going through this alternate area. As far as I, and most people know, this place is completely empty. Most people suggest ways of unlocking a chest by completing some secret tasks in the beginning with the spires. My suggestion is: just as the Templar is defeated and the Spirit Bloom chest spawns in that empty hidden room near the left conflux; I believe that when Atheon is defeated a chest will spawn in that alternate path under the very first chest. Surely it may be a journey returning to the start of the raid. Hell, I would have thought getting back to the Gorgons Maze was impossible but people found a way. I do not know how to return to the Templars but I do know how to return to the alternate passageway from the Templars. If I can confirm that returning to the beginning or even Templars is possible then I will definitely try to prove my theory and make it become fact. The only things left in my way are, is there really more secrets or another chest in Vault of Glass, or is Bungie trying to get us to keep playing Vault of Glass over some stupid marketing scheme. For now, I will be looking for guides on Youtube on how to return to Templars after defeating Atheon.

 • There are no more secrets. The person who was on the Dad's of Destiny Podcast said he was answering and different question. Read about it on reddit. He made a topic or two there, you want to waste your time, be my guest.
