Why I hate (most) warlocks
*Post doesn't apply to PvP*
Let's be honest
Almost every warlock uses Sunsinger in PvE
Almost every Sunsinger uses self revive
Almost every Sunsinger using self revive waits until they die to use their super
Almost every Sunsinger that self revived makes a small amount of orbs
IMO, if you wait til u die to use your super, you are a shitty player
Anyone who has experienced the glory of 3 warlocks all using their supercharges all the time knows it's the best way to play the game (aside from raids, whole different playstyle is necessary for those)
If you are a Warlock reading this, please consider turning of self revive
I dare you to play 10 ROC strikes where you use your super the second the yellow bar appears, then tell me how you liked the playstyle
All this being said, I main a Hunter b/c 99% of people can't use the Warlock effectively
Bring honor to the Warlocks fellow guardians
EDIT: im trying to stay away from giving Voidwalkers a bad name, trying to keep negative comments to sunsingers
EDIT 2: apparently a lot of people rely on sunsingers to save their team when everyone else dies??? There's such a thing called strategy, and excellent strategy>waiting until everyone dies to progress
EDIT 3: so according to some, not currently having a warlock makes me ignorant to everything about the class and unable to judge the class and the people using it -_-
For one, i had a fully leveled warlock but wanted a second hunter. Two, I've been playing since day 1 and understand the roles in depth of every class better than most warlocks i meet

EDIT 5: the comments seem pretty skewed towards "self revive is a great crutch, back off dudey" it's obvious that this post attracts warlocks, butthurt or not. However, the only time it is acceptable IMO to use fireborn is soloing nightfalls and 2 manning VoG or cheesing the bridge cp in CE

I use my Voidwalker the most..in PVP and pve. I only use sunsinger in NIGHTFALLS and some parts of raids. There have been countless times when we all die in the nightfall and I would self revive. Also places like atheon, it was on hard, somehow when we all got into the bubble in the middle we were all still taking damage, we all died I self revived jumped back and gjallarhorn that b!tch till he's dead. Lol Series I do use sunsinger in multiplayer but I have radient skin on and HOPF. Extremely effective because you can throw like 49258029 fusion grenades and kill everything.

This is probably the way most warlocks have done it and there is a reason why they all land on self revive sunsinger. It's because it's a great steategic boon to any team. I don't just pop it the moment I die. I use it when everyone has died and I need to save my team. You might not like it until you're an inch away from killing a final boss and the whole team goes down and your only hope is to get saved by the sunsinger in your team. That's when you hear people calling your name...

Lol. I'm a 'lock. And unless it's Crota (h), or an exceptionally hard NF, I am always Void. As for the producing little orbs, I usually produce 6-9 orbs on sunsinger.

I agree in the time they waited to die they could of used there super 2 or 3 times thus creating orbs and clearing enemies for Titans to pop bubbles and hunters to clear ads with golden gun or ark blade, thus making the raid easier for everyone including themselves, instead of being a pussy and holding onto it incase they die, which is only useful for them and not the team.

Tried sunsinger for about 5 minutes and hated it. Went voidwalker and now I'm all like Kamehameha those bitches.

I only use self res in Nightfalls and sometimes hard mode raids. Radiant Skin is better in everything else.

I mainly stick to nova bomb but later on nearing the boss I switch to sunsinger because I find nova bomb useless against bosses, I'll use radiance if I want to do damage but I like to keep it so I don't have to depend on people

I have lvl 31 for all my classes my fav is the warlock (aka space wizard). Im a void walker the only time i use sunsinger is on raids and nightfall I actually only use sun singer to create orbs of light and usualy i self revive only if were all dead and were fast

I dont like most warlocks, because they seem to leave as soon as they die in the weekly heroic. Though, there is a small percentage I've played with, that are true bros.

Hey dude dont worry. I main a Warlock and i agree with you. I always use my super proactively because of the Orbs it generates and the DPS with Heart of Praxic Fire is crazy. However, if im going into strikes with a bunch of randos and they seem to be total Nubcakes ill usually switch over to Fireborn just in case. Otherwise the damage reduction is HUGE for keeping your teammates alive and even reviving them if a bunch of enemies are near their ghost when im trying to revive them. I really think alot of warlocks need to think about why they are hoarding their supers and try to be more proactive because in the overall scheme of things you are hurting your teammates by not generating orbs. Just a couple hours ago i was doing the Omnigul strike with a random and one of my friends (Both of them were spec'd as defender titans). We were able to communicate well enough that when we got to omnigul we were able to sit on the bridge and have our supers going the entire fight. I was chucking grenades at omnigul and killing thralls when it was on cooldown to generate orbs. It was fantastic, we took her down in 1-2 min flat.

Only use sunsinger if I'm running a nightfall solo, most of the time run with voidwalker and obsidian mind with bad juju for those constant nova bombs
