I love the new Inferno Control mode. It is just so much fun the play. When there is no radar, it completely changes the experience and I think it is just simply fantastic. It allows you to run around without alerting the entire team and getting swarmed like a bunch of thralls. The way I play Inferno Control is with a bit of a stealth element to it and it is completely refreshing. Cant wait for the other Inferno game modes. Anyway, thank you bungie for bringing such a great new experience to the table.

Edited by JHarv: 3/6/2015 12:35:42 AMit really shows when you're a good or bad player too. when you're good, you get a ton of kills and run up your score, as good players typically don't get that many assists any way. when you're bad, your score isn't inflated with assist points. i had a good time playing a few games, but if you check my hunter's history, you will see how bad some of my teams were. like, when im at 1.5kd (not great) and the rest of my team is below 1.0, i don't really stand a chance. especially on inferno where no map = enemy chain killing bad players with no trouble. my last one i dominated though. actually had a good team. funny how when im with good players i go 4.5kd and with a bad team, go 1.5kd. having team support when pushing flags or just in general, is a big deal. which is exactly why all the 3.0kd + players only play on fireteams. they'd never be doing that well playing alone like i do every game.

Yes it is! It's fast and slow and hardcore. And mostly it's not a mob of shotty users running around in circles. Mostly

Arc Blades and Felwinter's Lie -blam!-ing everywhere...

I am truly happy with Inferno, I am excited to see Bungie catering to the players who want more from Matchmaking. I have enjoyed Crucible since the day it came out, and even more so after the update. If you would like to play some time hit me up GT: Flash aka Dan

I agree, it's very refreshing. Although when I first heard of it I imagined it almost as a COD hardcore match with no HUD. I know it sounds like a bad idea but a private match with some buddies and no hud would be interesting

It's fun until you team up against a fire team of 6 with mics. ಠ_ಠ

I too enjoy inferno and it's more stealth/strategic gameplay. I would enjoy if they had better servers though. Until then, my crucible stories fall short...

I too am an Inferno success story. In normal Crucible, lone wolves could run rampant raising K/D ratios yet losing objectives. Most of my Crucible matches are losses due to this prevalent lack of teamwork. No radar has made these wolves fall instinctively into a pack in the way Destiny is supposed to be played (Strength of the Pack medal ring any bells?). By omitting the radar, decreasing heavy spawns and lessening super frequency, Bungie has created the matchmaking Destiny was... destined for.

It's a great thing, but I'm not giving bungie great applause for their hard work and creativity of a new game mode of just disabling radar
